General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

That's kind of the point, though she gets away with it be cause she looks younger than she is. As in, a dentist assistant ushered her into the minors waiting room... or maybe that was a joke too?

In any case, she slipped saying she was in her 20's, I'm guessing she's a christmas cake. Hold on someone's at my windo--
Specifically the 17 years old is a meme started by (famous voice actress) Kikuko Inoue, who has been 17 years old for the last 30-something years (oi oi!) and it’s a running gag. You’ll even see references to it in shows she acts in sometimes - Hayate no Gotoku had a few.

in other news, luna is expanding her piano repertoire again.

also, Haachama’s new chuunibyou look is possibly the most fitting costume ever.

and I really want to make a gif of Miko’s new computer bashing intro. I love watching it.
  • Her whole collab with Coco was extremely awkward as Moona couldn't read the room.
Fun awkward or skin-peeling awkward? I’m tempted to watch because Coco’s had some fun awkward streams (Freedom Lady-Butterfly) but I don’t like to cringe out of my skin.

The latter, /hlgg/ was worried that the Gurame tour would be just as bad if not worse. They refer to it as 66 minutes. It was so bad Moona had to private the vod.

Fears were unfounded, as it turns out. Shit ended up being great.

Let's just say when Moona asked to continue the collab, Coco literally had to bring up how long they had been streaming (66 minutes) Moona to get the hint and the two haven't collabed since.

The glorious ending:

Has it been stated anywhere what she actually did that was against TOS this time?
No, but it'd be safe to assume she got busted for streaming on other sites while being a Twitch Partner. It's possible she watched an objectionable youtube video on stream? Kinda doubt it though, her non-pornographic streams are usually sorta tame compared to her cohorts.

Ahhh I didn't realize Twitch had that as a policy. I'm sure they were already aware of her CB streams but maybe the Lewdcast streams on YT with IronMouse and Silvervale are what did her in. If that's the case I would be curious why Mouse and Silver haven't been similarly hit since they are also partnered on Twitch. Part of me wonders if there isn't some lolcow drama at play such as a reporting campaign by people who want her off the platform. Digi seems like he could be that mad about the contract issue and she has a ton of people already opposed to her because she makes more money than them in donos. We may never know though.

While it may have been possible she had people out to report her, it was gonna come to Twitch's attention regardless. They eventually busted Simpleflips for streaming on YouTube. Altho, iunno if what lost him his partnership was taking a contract with Mixer and then FB Gaming or if it was the YT streaming. The real drama is that she got banned, iunno if the ban on breaking that one platform policy or not. Unless anyone has more info it might be interesting to keep an ear out in-case they banned for her being "problematic".

As far as I'm gleaning things from what's been said thus far, getting de-partnered is a separate offense from getting out and out banned from Twitch (even though the two events can clearly coincide with one another), correct?

Does that mean even if you're not partnered, you can still get banned from Twitch for streaming on YouTube? How the hell do certain YouTubers continually get away with it, then? Do they just fly under the radar?

Yes, getting de-partnered is not typically a ban. Also, no it does not mean that. It means if you're a Twitch partner, then part of the contract is you only stream on Twitch. I do not know how that relates to showing up on other platforms as a guest.
