GOP are con-artists and religious folk mostly. Most modern 'progress' of theirs is taking something from someone and claiming it for their own.. Like facilitating the theft of income, labor, elections, liberal social positions or art, etc.

Grifters is the best term

And the Dems are mostly crusty elites with authority complexes, man-hating, and MSM worship.
While there are no shortages of Republican grifters an con-men, I think that my classification as losers still stands. I wondered before when this attitude started for them and I think I have the answer: Richard Nixon.

Nixon was the last Republican politician that didn't sacrifice his balls to get elected. The problem is that he was also the one that was involved in Watergate. So for years the Republicans (especially boomer Republicans) have had this perennial mark of Cain attached to them of being the dirty party, this in spite of the Dems having done far worse in Wilson's presidency, JFK rigging the vote, and the many Obama scandals that make Watergate almost insignificant.

The GOP has therefore become this party that prefers to lose with dignity rather than win with underhanded tactics, despite the Dems constantly winning with underhanded tactics. I also mentioned the Gracchi brothers. Their mistake was that they believed could push their reforms while the rest of the Senate had to play by the rules. They were not counting on the establishment sending lynch mobs to club them to death.

I have questions for people in this thread:
1. does this mean politics will be boring again?
2. will Trump Derangement Syndrome be replaced with Biden Derangement Syndrome?
3. what will happen to BLM and Antifa post-election?
4. how does this affect the ongoing culture war between SJWs and Anti-SJWs?
5. how long do you see a Biden presidency lasting before Harris takes over?
6. what will you do after Trump leaves office?
7. your final thoughts on the election?
1: Yes.
2: No, because TDS was only a thing due to media backing.
3: They will likely be disbanded, they served their purpose.
4: Former group victory.
5: As long as needed so Harris can serve 2.5 terms.
6: Laugh a lot less, see 1.
7: Fraudulent.

I'm actually kind of impressed, the doomers were closer to the mark than anyone else. Well done.
This entire year put optimistic people like myself through the wringer. I wanted to believe there would be pushback against the insane shit the Left has been pushing in recent years, but I guess there's little to no chance of that now. Even turning to escapism isn't easy anymore because politics has infiltrated every form of media in some way.

Assuming Biden wins/gets away with it?
  1. Yes
  2. No
  3. They stay around, keep doing protests and grift going, only this time they won't be allowed to run rampant in Democrat cities.
  4. SJW gain, more of their shit goes mainstream.
  5. 6 months
  6. Lose interest in US politics for a long time. Trump made shit fun.
  7. Shitshow/Fraudulent.

People will see the media for what they are if Biden has won... It will go back to how the reporting was with Obama - just news when news was happening. With Trump it has been a full 24/7 week wash over. Barely mentioning actual news....

When was the last time the Florida - Ohio combo did not win the presidency, anyway?

I keep wanting to say it's been nearly 50 years.
No candidate has ever won both and lost the election. They’ve split many times, most recently in 1992, but every candidate that has won both has gone on to win the election.

ETA Fuckin hell I’m wrong: Nixon in 1960

1) Never
2) No. Republicans are bad. They'll yell that Trump being president for four years pushed them back decades.
3) They'll keep rioting. They've already said as much the moment Biden doesn't pass progressive legislation that they like.
4) They'll still hate each other.
5) I think Biden will get the FDR treatment where he remains president for four years but only as a figure head. The same way people still say Dick Cheney was the REAL president.
6) Hopefully find a fucking job, but I feel like we are going to be locked down all of 2021.
7) If Biden had won fair and square, I would have been shocked but gotten over it. My side will lose the election many times for the rest of my life. This obvious cheating and MSM cover-up is bullshit.

Yeah, I take that back. We learned about the Cold War for a week. Basically "nukes are bad" and we didn't use them because of MAD, which you could have learned from the Matthew Broderick movie.

Here, watch this History Buffs episode about a fictional Black comedy movie (which is hilarious by the way). You now know more about Soviet Russia than I ever learned in high school.

The horrible truth is that nuclear weapons saved us from WW3. And continue to. Do you really think China wouldn't invade Taiwan if the island wasn't under the US's nuclear umbrella?

It is actually feasible to have this tie now.

People have short memories and believe what the MSM tells them. They still think of Obama as the glory days despite the dronings, despite Abu Gharib, not bringing troops home, not closing Guantanemo, despite the funding of terrorist groups that killed Ghadaffi that then caused the power vacuum and border breakdown in Libya.

As soon as their phone tells them everything is fine now and they stopped cheeto Hitler, they will give sigh of relief and go back to Animal Crossing.

until they can't afford their phones and animal crossing anymore. bread and circuses only work so far.

No matter what happens, I can't wait to see what bullshit character the GOP peddles out as a viable candidate and explain to us all how he's the best thing since sliced bread. Aside from Yeb, do the Bushes have any more outstanding sons or grandsons that they could pull as another fucking shit candidate?

Or god forbid, they run someone like Rubio again.

GOP will probably implode at that point with abysmal voter turnout in general. till someone shows up who says popular things and makes things better short term, and depending how shit it got people will be even more eager to listen to him this time. then some of the very eager people will make sure he wins "for the greater good" by any means necessary (and make some dems old enough at that point do a suprised pikachu face because they realize they started it), and here we go. he probably won't have a funny beard this time tho.

This is going to the courts, which means that no amount of "produced" ballots mean anything anymore. The number juggling from state-to-state doesn't mean anything because neither candidate is going to concede. If the legitimate ballots can be immediately identified and the excess ones or ones counted past the legal cut-off date are rejected by the Supreme Court--which they will be because it's not Constitutional--then you can see where we're going to be heading.

All of the midnight dumps that lean 100% Biden don't mean anything. We're past the cut-off date and any ballots produced that are counterfeits won't hold up under scrutiny. This is a legal battle now, so I could care less what network screams about what truck loaded with what bullshit they found in what butt-fucking neck of an armpit county in Pennsylvania because neither candidate is going to throw in the towel, so none of that matters.

with 2020 I wouldn't be surprised if SC just ok'd it, in a 6-3 no less. the year has been this fucked up.

the other thing is a legal battle makes sense at this point, but whoever wins we lose. even if trump wins it will be tainted, and the dems can screech even harder about "illegitimate" and "not my president" (and if he does he really needs to go all out, we're at scorched earth levels now).
if biden wins we will be back to slowly boiling the frog (and that it was a righteous victory), now with more leftoid smugness.

After alienating over half the country for a long time, you want to have a victory for the American people? Fuck you, you pedophilic senile old codger.
His party dragged a man through the mud with false rape allegations because he was a conservative nominee for the SCOTUS, became deniers of the military industrial complex in order to spite Trump, vehemently denied the heritage of nonwhite people who allied with Trump regardless of actual purpose even if they were WASPs themselves, allowed honest-to-God riots to break out across the nation for months and drive out wealth and stability from the towns as they turned a blind eye to it all, and allowed their propaganda wing to malign multiple innocent young men on national television. His party denied the president his duty to orient the nation by distorting his words brazenly with a lie that stuck for so long: that he called Nazis "fine people". After four years of Trump and Trumpism they still speak like they have no genuine idea about why their opposition is their opposition and yet they have the gall to champion Biden as the candidate of "empathy" as he can only devote vagaries to Trump supporters killed in Portland riots.

God forbid these are the actual counts, but should they be, I can see why they suffered the way they did downballot. This man couldn't bring his two index fingers together, much less even begin to bring together this country in any positive way.

If Trump holds onto Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia and Alaska, that'll put him four points ahead of Joe and fucking Nevada will be the tie breaker, and Trump is only behind Biden by 8,000 votes. Funny how Michigan and Wisconsin have already been called but they refuse to let Trump call PA, NC and GA, meanwhile last minute ballot vomit is pushing NC and GA out of Trump's court.

I am so fucking disaffected by how hard they're rigging this.
It's all a narrative thing; it's not a Biden blowout? Then, it's going to be close, but the results won't come out for awhile, so don't call it for anyone, okay?

They frauded it so Biden would just win (270) and have it super close (Trump at 268}. They'll call PA, NC, GA, and AK (less Biden "wins" what he needs) once he gets to 270. That's probably why they were holding out on the country's most obviously won for a Republican. Florida and Ohio, as well as Texas.

I take issue with your classification of all republicans as complete losers and still insist they are grifters who often succeed in their goals. Cuz they can grift their way to winning, at least until they are caught with their pants down too much.

The 2000 election was more or less them using dirty tricks to win, and admitted later Gore had more votes there. Then in 2004, they won more fairly but many were still openly gloating about possibly manipulating electronic voting.

except history is circular, and if you don't watch out at some point you'll end up in your ass again (and the thing with dems is they never do). they can memory hole all they want, what they can't is prevent the inevitable effects. because the thing is, if you're the unopposed king you're also the dude responsible for all the shit that's happening, and that kind of rot will affect economy, society etc one way or another, same way blatant voting fraud is.

I mentioned it in another thread, but lets say biden wins - then what? sure, the world won't end in january, but the world also won't stop being shit all of a sudden with a dem potus. who are the people that screeched about cheeto hitler for years gonna blame now? their grandpa savior or queen kamala? MSM? themselves? what if they suddenly notice there's no outlet to express opinions that go against the narrative (although has history has shown most will just kowtow)?

same way people banned from social media won't stop existing (and being "toxic" in their echo chamber), getting drumpf out of the white house won't magically turn the world into a liberal utopia, which they spent the last years to make themselves believe very hard. that kind of blowback could cost the dems harder than just taking the L.
I assume blame for all of the nations woes will be going towards "white supremacist" who have somehow magically infiltrated every aspect of society under Trump/the elections. Expect MSM to blame most stuff on spooky phantom far right groups that are just waiting for the opportunity to pop out, pants you, then call your dick small or whatever.

You know, my solace in all of this is that even if Trump does lose, this fraud won’t be forgotten and that the Democrat party, despite having the presidency, will be unpopular in ways you can’t imagine.

First they stole it from Bernie, but I didn't care because I wasn't a Bernie fan.
Then they stole it from Bernie, but I didn't care because I still wasn't a Bernie fan.
Then they stole it from Trump, and I wished I'd cared sooner.
