If Trump can't pull off a win here, I don't see Pence being politically relevant ever again. Certainly not in 2024. Maybe if Trump had gotten a second term, and drew more attention to Pence... Gave him more to do...

Still, even in that scenario, I kinda doubt it. Didn't work for Al Gore. Dude is boring AF. Most VPs are. Most are just warm bodies to fill a Constitutionally required position.

I wonder if trump's unwillingness to do anything (not that he is legally commanded to) about the roots helped lead to this? It made him look weak and indecisive. I wondered why he didn't publicize his admins efforts to pursue legal action against the city governments that were allowing this rioting, you hardly saw any mention on his Twitter.

The first debate also really didn't help. Second debate went a lot better but came way too late.

His 2020 campaign was also not as hot as it was in 2016. He really flip flopped on some issues, his EOs on fixing healthcare were a promising first step and could have gotten votes, but he didn't really push the subject anytime afterwards.

So happy that #wokism will now be pushed at a federal level again. /Sigh

Unless the entire current staff of senators and house representatives who are pushing 35-80 right now die of covid in minecraft, you're not going to see any policy change because it doesn't fit corporate profit. This goes for both parties. They think that their base is satisfied with the economic issues on either side and will not stand up for any small person. If the under 35s haven't been bought and paid for already, that is. But politics is money, and only money talks in congress.

no its because practically every current application of civil rights leads to the fucking over of whites. either immediately or through a long con where the only race that doesnt act in their collective interests doesnt get represented for the sake of minorites and then inevitably becomes a minority themselves. ill guarantee you we will have our problems ignored. you can already see this sort of behaviour happen in western europe where multiple frenchies die in gruesome ways to muslims with only a mildly performative negative response by their government and a continuation of the ''peace and tolerance'' policy by tha public. or once again in austria where you had to dig through the internet like an autist to find out that a killer of 4 civilians was muslim because it might wake whitey up that there might be a problem in his nation.

if Biden wins the silver lining is the rug being yanked out from underneath antifa and BLM rioters in 2021 with practically zero media coverage.

A lot of young kids are going to learn the absolute hardest way (arrests and jail time) that both sides are more or less the same and will use any tool they can to gain power. Rioting will make Biden and Kamala look ineffective and Trump handled them with complete kiddie gloves because of the looming election,

That is to say if our day to day is recognizable at that point, I’m really worried about this being a powder keg.

I just want a fucking normal shot at a middle class life like my boomer parents had lmao
