Honestly the only reason I was hoping for a trump victory was I know of several people who have been total spergs since 2016. If youve seen my posts In twitter autism one of them was Matt burnet. Aka animat animation look back. This year alone has left we saying "wow," he believes everything the media says so blindly it's actually hilarious. From refusing to admit antifa is worse and more dangerous than anti lockdown protestors, to the couple who defended themselves with ars being white supremacists, to covington and kavanava. Hell his latest video on the policies of bioshock infinite probably could have put him in the internet famous thread..but yeah after the last time I tried that...no I'm not gonna.

From an outsider's POV, America is pretty nice. It's a big place to travel, appreciating the sightseeing through. Unfortunately, the news and the media make it look much smaller, by usually focusing on a select few locations for a long time.
I would guess this is also why some Americans hate their own country because they're so jaded by the bad and that is all they know. Covid shutting a majority to their homes also adds insult to injury.
I'm losing my train of thought of where I'm going to this but politics isn't the end-all be-all to lives. The effects of politics are rarely felt to every day usual stuff unless its a really huge one (like unfortunately Covid being very politically charged), but life continues on. Sometimes it helps to just breathe in, breathe out, and just.... relax. Try out hobbies, go sightseeing, have a laugh with someone, and so on.
