They could theoretically rule that there are invalid votes that aren't in line with the law (for example, ones counted after the deadline in WI, PA, and GA and all the signature-less ballots in PA).

They could also Bush V Gore to stop a recount that's unfavorable to Trump (technically they could do the same for Biden if that situation came up).

Outside of that though they don't really have much if any authority to do anything.

Congress does though, as the electoral results can be contested (i.e. if it's somehow proven there was mass voter fraud) but that option has never been and likely will never be taken. Especially since it looks like the Dems are going to narrowly keep the house (takes both chambers to approve).
Bush v. Gore is one of the most misunderstood decisions in American history. They didn't stop the recount. They stopped the latest recount. Gore kept demanding a do over and presumably would keep demanding them until they came out in such a way as to give him Florida and, by extension, the Presidency.

Well, that explains it.

Seriously, dude, I know I've been dunking on you all night, but mixing that shit isn't good for you, and neither is being such a doomer. Also, you've said you're pursing a career in medicine, and trust me, man, if you get busted doing that shit, your ass is gonna be grass.

Just take a breath, and calm down. Everything's going to be okay.

It's perfectly fine to mix alcohol and prozac keep doing it.
prozac is an SSRI like zoloft or lexapro etc, they do not get you high, and it isn't generally considered to be seriously dangerous to drink while you take an SSRI. There is an increased risk of sedation but it isn't serious for physically healthy people. What is dangerous is to mix alcohol with whatever mental condition lead to being prescribed antidepressants, it is easy to develop alcoholism or to worsen . However, there are some times that these drugs are prescribed for conditions that aren't related to mood, such as migraine headache prevention.

Did @ThatOneLurker single handedly get people to make fun of right wingers and Trump en masse in this thread? Holy shit.

If Trump does indeed lose how long until he gets a thread for being a washed up crazy lol cow ex president?
I think Trump will either expat or become a major player in the Republican party going forward. I dare say, we might see Trump taking a role like Nancy Pelosi is for the DNC but that's purely optimism on my part.

I was just having a very similar discussion with someone. I can't imagine him conceding either. Nor can I imagine him participating in some of the quaint niceties such as leaving a letter for the incoming in the oval office, nor Biden's inauguration should it get to that point.
Does he really want to hang on to power at any cost? Or does he just want to be able to leave while avoiding admitting that he lost? I'm sure we all recall the quibbling that went on about whether or not Hillary really won the popular vote, or whether or not Trump's inauguration had the biggest crowd ever. This might just be a more awful version of that kind of behavior.

The danger here is that the US military can't get involved for a very, very large number of reasons, if they do we become an Ataturk style junta where the civilian government rules at the leisure of the military. Congress also possesses virtually no enforcement capabilities. Quite frankly, possession is 9/10 of the law. You can't send the cops because Trump is the cops, and there's literally absolutely no recourse a single person can LEGALLY take, meaning you need extralegal action, and likely, violent force.

This is very similar to the situation under Andrew Jackson where Jackson ordered the US Army to force the Natives out to Oklahoma, and the SCOTUS was very clear that this was illegal as shit and ordered him to abide by the treaties ratified by Congress and stop what he was doing. Jackson then preceeded to flip them the bird, saying "They've made their decision, now let's see them enforce it." The obvious problem here is that the Court relies on the Executive and his delegates (USMS, DoJ, DHS, etc.) to enforce their decisions. We know what happened with Jackson, everyone backed down and we got the trail of tears, will that happen this time?

What happens when Congress and the SCOTUS order him to hand over power, and he refuses, and all of his cops go "not my circus not my monkey" and just wait to see how it pans out instead of carrying out what would essentially be a coup? The Founders had no idea we would ever have someone so fucking retarded as to do this, and for 244 years we haven't, so this is both incredibly dangerous and unprecedented.
