I don't know if it's directly related to the election or just morons being morons, but last night a Big 5 a town over got ransacked (including guns and ammo) along with at least one grocery store.

We had to board up our storefront and chilled out until about 1 AM.

I know for certain that there will be if Trump wins. This time though, they will just make themselves look worse than before. I also hope that if there are riots, mass arrests happen and no bail is given. At least a two year sentence or more should be mandatory, seeing as these people destroy businesses.

Not really. After the crap pulled in AZ, PA, and MI, on top of there being a 99% counted on night of election, most of those votes will be thrown out. If they call GA for Biden, Trump had plenty of evidence to use against them, especially for what’s going on in only Atlanta with a heavy influx of votes only for Biden. If they can take away AZ from Biden, GA can get away too.

I already had my moment of realizing that Biden won. I woke up and asked how it went, and got the response "not how we were hoping". Turns out that meant "not a clear resolution", but I managed to take it with little more than a "shit". I'm in something of a zen state: if Trump pulls it back, great, if not, so be it.

that's what I usually bring up when I get puzzled looks. I think china has their own little playbook, just like the USSR.
it will also be interesting how things will turn out when you can't build your own themepark with blackjack and hookers anymore - space is gonna take a while before it gets real. but how this year has been going not even human aliens a la BSG could surprise me anymore.

If he manages to squeak out a win, I can’t imagine the flipping of shit that will commence. It will be worse than 2016, because they were this close to winning.

I've been curious about China, too. They're getting to be about as old as the USSR was, maybe we'll see a pattern emerge for the lifespan of Communist nations.
