The problem is that it is an empty phrase in this context. The PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES has power. He has supporters, literally millions of them. And contrary to the doomer statement, they are in fact visibly moving to his challenge.
Transition is already in progress. Trump will no longer be the President in Janurary. Why? The right people networked with each other and decided that.

Oh bugger off with that. Simply stating your doomer notes as fact does not in fact make them true. You keep doing this, coming in and pretending to leave nuggets of black wisdom for us, but you have yet to back up even a single bit of it with an argument or even common sense when it contradicts observable reality.

I think if Trump decisively wins the lawsuits and then uses those emergency presidential powers to declare himself the winner, the democrats will be forced to either make their coup hot or back down. There will be salt like no other and mass arrests. Even if it doesn't result in violence on national scale, politicians are going to be at each other's throats.

They've burned Trump enough by this point he would do it. If he did it would be apocalyptic. He would go down in history as someone like Caeser. No one can resist being that important.

But that's probably not going to happen. A far off dream by this point. In one timeline it happened though and it was cathartic as all hell.
If Trump unilaterally declares himself the winner, his staff resigns.

Over 100 pages behind, but I swear to god if one more person says the lockdowns were over Trump and that they'll be immediately lifted and memory-holed once Biden is inaugurated...

I have a question who are doing the recounts. The people who counted it before who are part of the fraud or different people?

as many answered before: different! recounts aren't just "count them twice", they're a full blown auduit rechecking every fucking minutia of the bleeping ballot, that's why they take so long.

You realize that this election (and the last too really) showed that polls are literally propaganda completely divorced from reality right? Not even considering the main election shit. There was no blue wave, which the polls predicted. Posting a poll is the equivalent to posting an opinion piece: it's absolutely useless in discerning what the people actually think.

the dems forget about the blue wave when you mention the numbers anomolies in relation to dem loses in the congress. the whole point of blue wave is that both the president and congress win in large numbers not just the president.

I disagree. This would be much more clean if it was one concerted effort by a unified group. We're clearly dealing with many parties on both sides posturing and making moves. Its impossible to guess who is closely aligned with who, but the lines aren't hard to draw.

Plenty of eager political stooges and boomers willing to take those positions. In this scenario you have the Qanoners coming out in force to, "protect the president" and whatnot. Shit like that would motivate the fuck out of people.

Like I said, far off dream.

Omfg...seriously? How ironic is that, a so-called Civil Right's leaders district is being used as a staging ground for fraud.
Ironically for me taking issues with the nonsensical doomers, I am probably one of the more skeptical people here of Trumps actual chances. And part of it is stuff like this, the brazenness of it is awe inspiring and refuge in audacity is a real thing.

My main concern is some people's main takeaway from the election is that trying to resolve things in a civil way is pointless and they might end up doing something that's equal parts stupid and dangerous.

Tack on the fact that alot of people have had their lives ruined by the pandemic. To the point that they feel like there's no way things will get better nor do they have anything left to lose and you've got a lot of potential trouble.
Thats one of the reasons I don't want Biden to be President . He wants another lovkdown and I don't think this country will survive another one
