lol Republicans better defend Trump or their voterbase will be demoralized into thinking that voting is a sham (well no shit) and shouldn't bother or good luck trying to get elected again.
we're not the base, we're new faces that showed up in 2015 to ruin the grift. the gope would love for us to go away.

^ What he said. Looking at how they broke turnout numbers, making it so in some counties you literally had more votes than people (until they "corrected" by sending those votes to neighboring counties...), how they spread out the biden bump over the prior hours after the fact, etc. It really seems like they actually bought their own bullshit about Trump having no support, and they were expecting low turnout to let them hide massive fraud and the landslide to result in a prompt GOP betrayal of trump and surrender.

But Trump had the support, the red wave was more than real, if you check every fucking state where they've stopped counting Trump had much better results than in 2016, and the dems had no counter to it, so rather than letting the election fraud go to waste and serve as a wake up call for the GOP to go full florida on their ass they decided to double, triple and quadruple down in ways that just called attention to it massively, but at that point they were so far down that loosing just meant they'd get punished for election fraud anyway so they really didn't have any other option anymore.

This seems so blatant and poorly made because the Dems went in thinking they were just gonna push over a hated tyrant with no support, but they got a beloved president with masses behind him, and they were absolutely unprepared for that. They've been planning to rig this shit for months, that much is obvious in retrospect, but fucking idiots were blindsided by their own ego and didn't plan for just how much fraud they'd have to do to tip the scale, and they are very bad at improv.
You know, after Trump won 2016, I was hoping for a Democrat party reform because they were so exceptional and full of hubris the last time. Instead, they blamed all loss and every bad thing on their opponent without considering the faults of the candidates they run. You’d think that after running someone as unpopular as Hillary that they would go back to the drawing board and try for someone new and with less skeletons in their closet. Instead, they ended up choosing a dementia patient and a corrupt prosecutor to run because “establishment over common sense”. Every single time when I thought they could turn a new leaf and possibly have some introspection, I was wrong. I guess it’s only the opponents that are evil, not themselves. I’m not even Democrat and I wanted to hope that they would change because I’m tired of then making once bipartisan issues hyperpartisan because Orange Man and all his supporters are bad and irredeemable.

Adam Sandler was surprised to me too. Didn't know he had a thread here. He comes off pretty sane to me compare to rest of Hollywood.

I still want to know what John McCain had on him. Like other since that man died, he's become a new person.

And the smug McCain family too. Like I still found Megan McCain to be annoying when she wines about how daddy was better then Trump.
I knew the moment this picture was taken:

The guy was a new man, Lord he was free at last!!!
Although I still have my eye on him that he'll go the way of Mitt.

You're definitely right. The sloppiness and incompetence tells us that this was definitely "plan B."

-The Biden campaign makes some panicked calls to these swing states around midnight on election night when it became obvious they were going to lose.
-Ballot counting stops.
-Biden gives his smug "have faith" speech and gives the dems a wink and a nod that everything will be alright.
-Ballot machine go brrrrrrr

They probably expected that their polls, which are obvious lies in hindsight, would do an adequate job of demoralizing Trump voter turnout. Or maybe they believed their own propaganda that the majority of America was with them.
The fact that they're so blinded with rage at Orange Man that they end up tripping over their plans is pretty funny if you think about it. Maybe this should be in a Tom and Jerry cartoon.

If they plan on washing their hands with him, that's them done for the next 8 to 10 years at least. Their base are convinced that this is fraudulent as fuck and won't forget that when their president went to fight a fraud election, the party knifed him in the back and bent the knee.

Hk-47 might have said something similar, but this ballot printing thing is BS; however, what does seem more likely is that Postal Service workers are bringing in late (be they genuine or not) ballots that were already sent and distributed but marking them as having come on time. At least that's the impression I'm getting from Bill Whittle here

If it was declared on election night that Biden won, I’d hate that he won, but at least I’d know people actually wanted him in. The blatant fuckery makes me think Trump has genuinely won, even by a small margin.
If it is proven fuckery was afoot, I would wonder about my state's elections. I really, really needed a particular candidate to win particular seats and it seemed, like Trump, the enthusiasm and people were behind them. Neither were dems. Dems won both. We could have still lost but it would call still a lot into question.

There was a disconnect between the base and the party leaders. Having an (R) next to your name, pre-2015, meant hordes of boomers would beg you for table scraps if you promised them you'd oppose abortion, or only take some of their guns and money, or drop more bombs on sandland.

Trump has been delivering what Republican voters have begged for for decades.

Holy fuck, and I thought I was the designated doomer of this thread. Guys, it's not the end of the world. Even if Trump loses there's a lot of solace to take in during these times. No, I'm not saying this as an optimist because I myself am dooming right now, but let's try to put everything into context.

This is not the victory that Democrats wanted: As we currently stand, it's seems that the GOP will maintain Senate, and they have flipped Democrat seats, all with Trump campaigning. Usually, when the opposing party beats and incumbent, they do so with landslide victories that overwhelmingly gets them Congress and the ability to pass legislation easily. But it's even more than that. The main reason why they wanted a blue wave was to utterly destroy the Trump movement. They put everything into this. Every single social and political currency went into this. Every Hollywood actor, every late night show host, every news anchor, every Washington swamp creature, every multi-billion company, Silicon Valley, and their allies overseas like China and the EU. All of it for the shitty results they got today, and they still had to cheat just to get the most hollow political victory of the modern era.

Trump has already won: Trump will have a far more lasting legacy with what he did in 4 years than what Obama managed in 8. With how toothless Congress and the Presidency will be, the strongest branch of the government is going to be the judiciary. Guess what Trump will leave behind before he leaves office? Hundreds of conservative judges and three young, originalist justices that will be a thorn in the Democrats' side for generations. More than anything, he also gave a shot of energy to a completely hollow conservative base that had been relegated to jerking itself off to 50s and Reagan nostalgia.

Biden is fucked: This a man who can barely string together coherent sentences on his best day. A black hole of charisma whose best message is: "'Member Obama? Don't you want to return to normalcy?" He has no mandate to pass whatever policy the DNC have in their little mystery box, and in the event that he passes, his successor is a woman so hated that not even the DNC machine could inch her towards the Iowa caucuses. This is the man that will be the face of the Democrats for the next four years, To anybody who has even an inkling of knowledge about current trends, the "return to normalcy" bullshit is a complete delusion. A delusion that will easily be torn apart just a few months into his first term. There's no putting the genie back in the bottle anymore.

The Democrats are going to tear each other apart: The Democrats made the horrendous mistake of courting the fringiest groups of their political sphere in order to get a coalition to defeat Trump. This nasty little egg is going to come home to roost the moment Biden steps into office. This is not even speculation. Results are not even fully in and they have already started to turn their loaded rifles at each other. Do you really think that the true believers are going to just nod smugly when they see that Biden has won and go back to where they came from? Fuck no. This is probably the biggest defeat Democrats will have to deal with after this election. There's no longer a Trump to throw their concentrated ire against, so what they'll have is a dementia-riddled President with an octogenarian Speaker trying to corral a bunch of marxists and anti-white activists that have outright stated and demonstrated that they will break all rules of civility and political fair-play to get their way, and get them to play ball with the moderates and the blue dogs. Their majority is so fragile that there's no other way to get any legislation done unless some GOP cucked members cross the line or they managed to get the neolibs, the marxists, and the blue dogs to agree on something. I'd be surprised if Pelosi manages to survive this.

Trump will not be the last: There is a clear path forward for the Right. Even if Trump didn't succeed in everything, he succeded in showing that there is a way. Right now, even after how fucked they are going to be in the years to come, the Democrats are probably sighing in relief that at least they managed to get the Orange Man out. I'm pretty sure that it's what the Senate thought after they killed Tiberius Gracchus. You can snuff out a person, but you can't snuff out the idea, and with how Trump is going out, the Democrats have made him a martyr. If the GOP decides to go back to holding a bible while reminiscing about the good ol' Gipper and how they need to be the losing with dignity party, they're going to get crushed. Some are OK with that, hell, even most of them, but there's going to be some that aren't, and will try to refine what Trump accomplished for themselves.

Jam your fingers into your throats and puke the blackpill out of your system. I'm not telling you to "VOTE RED NO MATTER WHAT!" Especially if the GOP decides to cuck because I won't vote for them in that case either. But I am telling you to chill for a moment. Remove yourselves from your computer screens, take some deep breaths, and leave the rifle back in your safe. Assess the situation as it really stands and realize that the other side is just as disappointed as you are. Take a walk and reflect if you need to. I certainly had to the last couple of days, but even though I'm already predicting the slew of rainbow ratings most of you are going to give, I still prefer them over being a blackpilled bedwetter that is going to give up at the first setback. If the Founding Fathers had your attitude, they would have surrendered after Bunker Hill.

I love how every MSM article about this election still includes the words "baseless" or "no evidence".

There will be no amount of evidence that they will ever admit that maybe there's even a hint of something going on. If Trump wins his court cases and the election, the REEEing that Trump somehow cheated will be epic.
Hell you could force someone publicly confess that they personally faked and added votes and I am sure the media machine would go around screaming that the person is lying and is actually some kind of advanced animatronic programed to spread false information made personally by Trump.

Even as far as in the asscrack of South East Asia the US elections the talk of the town. Now I got friends and family asking me of my opinion cause I've said some good things about Trump before and it's so hard to explain how I think there's voter fraud without sounding like a butthurt conspiracy theorist. It even makes me wonder if it's all just republican cope.

I think this is how the Dems will win, it's too complicated to explain the depth of their fraud, even if it can be proven. No one wants to consider the idea that their electoral process is a sham and would rather have a "safe" pick in Biden than fight for Trump.

If they really pushed the mail in voting scam, and we know it's a scam cause CNN was even pushing for Covid positive voters to vote in person on election day, with completely destroying the electoral process in mind the Dems really are cold bastards. I wonder if getting Orange Hitler out was worth crashing the confidence in their voting system with no survivors though.

Hmm is he ever technically the president if he can't coherently recite the whole oath? Could take a while.
Obama messed up his entire oath and had to have a private swearing in at the White House to correct it later that day. Joe's reswearing will probably take several hours, at which point Roberts will probably give up and regret not having voted for expedited cert in the Pennsylvania case.

You know it's really feels like a end of an era with Putin resigning. So now who will blame right wing politicians getting electing in west countries now?
Good question. We do not have to discuss it here, but if any True Gopniks want to let us know who is the running, I would like to know at least.

Same. because of living in a different timezone I was sleeping while voting was still happening. I went to bed expecting either a clear Biden or Trump victory, fearing a Biden landslide, but hoping for a narrow victory to Trump.
When I wake up it's 3am US time and it actually seems like we're heading towards a repeat of 2016, then they suddenly announce they're taking a break, and the fuckery begins. While the majority of americans have gone to sleep Biden suddenly shoots ahead in Wisconsin and Michigan, I guess they weren't taking a break. And I guess most people here remember how things went from there.

QBoomers and Rupert Murdoch are the new Emmanuel Goldstein.
and leave the rifle back in your safe
What if I just wanna cuddle with it? I always make sure it's the snap-cap magazine, not the one with live rounds.
