A recount just does basic voter information checks, lengthier than the voting process but still not terribly in depth. An AUDIT involves checking every single last detail of the ballots. Most importantly HERE, confirming the chain of custody.

All of these states are holding back on reporting, there's a mexican standoff where Republican counties don't want to report first because Democrat counties will then get the numbers they need to beat and the democrat counties won't report it because they lose the advantage of fraud. Considering the leaked democratic meeting call and how at least one person said "If we mention socialism we'll be unelectable & the defund the police nearly cost me the race", hopefully others in the party are taking action as well. On another note, here's a matter I've been chewing on after repeated discussions with family, but I either haven't seen it brought up here or over in the Doomsday thread or I may have missed it because I don't watch these threads as often as I was earlier in the week:

Setting aside how the legal wheels seem to be just STARTING to churn as of today/tonight, certain members of my family have repeatedly attested that if these swing states won't abide court orders and are outright ignoring them, then the U.S. Marshal can be sent in to put a stop to that shit right now, remove anyone involved in blocking recounts/Republican observation of the count, and replace them with neutral parties so that the process can be carried out how it was meant to be. Same thing with suspending a federal judge who is refusing to play ball with constitutional law and temporarily having another federal judge take their place so that everything can be carried out according to the law.

My question becomes, in the face of things like the fuckery that was happening in Pennsylvania from the legal angle, why hasn't that happened yet? Why hasn't it happened sooner? I'm ignorant on this matter, so an explanation would be appreciated.

Something that the sheer number of 'optimistic' ratings I get seems to miss. I am a deep cynic. But the great thing about cynicism is that yous top viewing your politicians as people who just want to do good, and instead view them as cancerous sharks who want their pound of meat for as cheaply as possible.

Ironically for all the doomering, it is Trump here who has the most ability to bite chunks out of his opponents. The fraud was blatant and evidence mounting, connections will be formed. Hypothetically, they could throw out the 100Ks on an entirely different grounds. They CLAIMED they were no longer counting, but counted anyway. If they fail to explain why, the legislature can throw those out purely on the grounds of impropriety. Given that I hold it was a panic moment... they probably don't have a good reason.
