The Conservative response to this election, even before the fuckery has been weird.

Ben Shapiro was pessimistic the entire night even though at 10:30 pm Trump had already clinched Florida and every swing state was red.

It's like conservatives hate to be optimistic or something.
Tim Pool isn't a conservative though. He's a bit left of center.

Please if Trump is somehow going to win his cases, do you think Trump of all people will do that? It won’t heal any rifts and just prove to them that he stole the election if he did win with his legal warfare.

The president of the United States that will have an inauguration in January no matter who it is will not heal the country. I do think the country can be healed but it won’t be done for many years
The country can be healed by Trump being rightfully inaugurated in January, as he won the election before it was stolen by unscrupulous and more importantly, illegal means (cheating).

Why is Tim Pool such a fence sitting pussy?

His income source depends on beight right wing enough to have an audience but left wing enough not to get demonetized. He literally makes a living out of fence sitting. Even if he wanted to scream MAGA to the heavens and declared the Democratic party must be purged with violence he'd have to eat his pride sit there and tell you all about how nothing is decided and he can't form an oppinion yet if he wishes to pay the bills by the end of the month. It's quite sad in that way. But there's nothing we can do about it anymore, much like a parasyte growing inside its host, this style of living has wedged itself into his routine and now he doesn't even know how to move on from it. He's as doomed as DSP, and even worse, bears the curse of being self aware enough to know it. Let that be the punishment for his complacency.

Oh I am having fun. I like posting long winded rambles about various topics such as this. Don’t get me started on the naval arms race of the 1900’s to the 1940’s.
We have a rich history of naval victories down in Chile. Hell, we even have a national holiday to celebrate what we call "Naval Glories", since thanks to our shoddy but valiant Navy, we kept some Peruvian expansionists from keeping some strategic lands on what once was their territory during the Viceroyalty years. I believe a more History-inclined kiwi can keep you up on this, I was only taught my part of the story.

Trump campaign press conference in Philly starting at 11:30 (aka 12:15)

More theater, the filings in court that are coming are going to be the true glory one way or another
My worry there is that it will be a lolsuit. Perhaps frequenting the legal side of the farms has made me unreasonably jaded, but I have found my opinion of all lawyers has significant decreased.

The next month is going to be great. The best legal minds in the country dropping the mask of passive aggressive sniping lawyers usually do and going full pasta dome

The entire Chilean military history is based (except Pinochet) and their navy double based. The Chilean’s had the best Dreadnought in South America. It was good enough that during the Second World War the US Navy asked Chile if we could borrow it/buy it. The South American Dreadnought race is a real ride from start to finish.

Seems they're now using corona epidemic to shift focus away from the election

Can I ask...is it impossible for Trump to dispute the votes in the swing states that clearly got frauded out of a Trump win at this point? Aside from Penn of course.
Not impossible no, he is already doing what he is legally allowed to by seeking recounts, audits, and supreme court decisions.

Trump will have to deal with Nancy Pelosi for at least another 2 years. Clearly that will mean continued investigations against him, his family, and his supporters along with virtually nothing getting done in Congress for just those 2 years. The media (which I include social media) will continue spurning Trump as they've been doing for years. Antifa/BLM will raise their ugly heads again with renewed ferocity. In short, it will just be another miserable slog for at least 2 more years if not 4. Why not bow out after if he can secure a victory for himself and Pence? It would still be one last FU to the Left, and he could manage to heal some of the rifts in the country if he did so.

It's a bold move. The Putin Castle! He becomes "VP" and Pence becomes "POTUS" but they both agree privately that nothing has changed, rather like Putin and Medvedev swapped between President and Prime Minister.

Pence could be portrayed as 'more liberal than his predecessor' to the uneducated masses.

I think it's a religious thing. Religious people don't believe in the perfectability of man or utopias. Leftists believe in both. If you're a conservative you know man is flawed, and the best you can hope for is holding leftists attempts to create a utopia, which always end in dystopia, for another generation.

It's almost Doystoyevskian. Which is ironic as the Cold War was basically US Conservatives against hard drinking, gloomy Russians. This guy is post Cold War but does he look cheerful?

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu

And then on the conservative side, all the ads on Gorka's show are shilling diabeetus medicine, support socks and pain-relieving snake oils.

Like is short and grim, but then we might go to heaven. We'll get there sooner if the balloon goes up and leftists attempts at utopia will be stopped until intelligent life reemerges from slime, so there's that. The only real difference is that the Russians like vodka and the Americans like whiskey. Either way, liver will rot and diabeetus will set in. The existing political order will be protected with violence if necessary. In fact, we're salivating over that prospect.

Look at Shoigu. Does he look like someone who'd back away from a fight? The fucker is straining at the leash for one. Better to die gloriously in a thermonuclear fire than slowly from massive organ failure. I honestly get the same impression from American conservatives and it is endearing.
