You know those self-checkout machines they have at all the markets now? They, in many incarnations, have cameras that record both from the front and from an overhead view. Something like that with vote-counting stations would be ideal. If voting matters, then accuracy matters - and accuracy is one thing that is relatively easy to implement. Hand-counting with constant vigilance, each vote counted by at least two separate individuals. Every vote that is counted gets timestamped and marked with the 'inspected by' counters' ID, so that a specific votes count can be audited absolutely by matching them up with video of their count.
Accuracy and transparency have long been available, but there is the overwhelming push to prevent that from happening.

THe staple of those is painting the opposition as crazy conspiracy theorists, low-status white people, and, for the browns, uncle toms/coons who have lost their way.
