I dread that the more and more I consider it, if just because I remember feeling full on doomer and blackpilled (lol) during the Obama administration, even though I hardly gave a shit about it most of the time.

Are you suggesting that seeking to broaden his base cost him a critical margin of his core base, or that he did absolutely nothing for his core base while seeking to broaden his base-- a strategy which cost him a critical margin of his core base?

It's a rebuttal to what I believe you're trying to say.

When it comes to immigration hawkishness Trump has been the most hard-line immigration hawk since Eisenhower. Any non ideal decision on that front has been due to the constraints of the American political system. And despite all that, he seems to have won fair and square. Monday morning quarterbacking isn't the correct response to an outcome decided by cheating.

I'm not even sure BDS will be a thing, if Biden's going to kick the bucket in the next few years, along with him feeling like a puppet. Maybe HDS? The thing is, the right has a general hatred for the DNC in general, from what I can tell it's not really focused on any one person, compared to the left and Trump.
