The media is being insufferable too, with cries for "healing the nation" as if they haven't spent the past 5 years attacking half the country for being racists, Nazis, bigots, deplorables, and saying we need to be exterminated.

They're like the kids going "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you!" trying to provoke their target into retaliation.

Imagine that the only thing keeping you warm at night was the hope that once Trump is gone they could get back into the status quo of multiple warfronts, record unemployment, racial riots, Patriot Act spying, blatant corruption, extrajudicial killings, drone strikes...that's the decorum and respect for the office and country they've been screaming about getting back to for 4 years.

Trump is literally their Emmanuel Goldstein and just like good citizens they rage and scream as they've been told to when they see his face. How can I not feel some pity that they've become the exact thing they claim to hate? How can you not feel somewhat sad that this is their life:

That INGSOC image is the first thing that came to my mind from those shots of the parking lot full of Jeeps that Biden presided over. Those huge telescreens serenading an empty stage and empty parking lot. It was like something out of a horror movie.

I'm not sure if this counts as powerleveling, but my dad got so enraged at the fact that I was trying to inform my family about the election fraud and that I was a "Trump supporter" (even though I straight up said that at this point I don't give a shit about who wins, just that they win fairly) that he threatened to knock me out and I know damn well he was mad enough to make good on his promise.

Imagine being so fucking infected with TDS that you threaten to hit your kid because they're saying things that are barely in support of an old fart who didn't affect your life in the slightest. What the fuck.

It's confirmation bias. They want to think of Trump as having overwhelmingly lost and are desperate to leap to the conclusion that everything to do with Trump is over.

There's absolutely some absurd desperation (on both sides) to feel like they've won. But I wouldn't have too much faith in law enforcement given how the Mueller Probe showed how deranged LE can really be. The police aren't your friends and groups like the FBI would probably be more than happy to rig an election against Trump.

Which makes the crimes committed more political than anything, since that's the only arena that will cause any consequences to come out. But the establishment is firmly against Trump and isn't going to promote his side of the story so that pressure can be put upon legislatures to help Trump. Some die hard Trump supporters are imagining scenarios with faithless electors similar to how Hillary supporters were back in 2016, or somehow convincing state legislatures to go against the media declared election results.

The support for the media is honestly too strong and the fact no one has tried assassinating some journos should be considered a national disgrace.
