It's no different than the people that thought Trump was the second coming. And Biden has one thing going for him, he isn't Trump. And in the mind of a lot of lefists, that's all that matters. Just like last time around it was "anybody but Hillary", this time it's "anybody but Trump".
Nothing is going to change though. It's a different face but business as usual.

I think that would be incredibly irritating, to have someone immediately laying claim to every new thing you find and enjoy. Like an emotional vampire, sucking every bit of fun from your life. Find a new show? They've always loved it. Discover a new band? They almost toured with them once. Announce a newfound passion for impressionist art? They don't like to brag, but they're directly descended from Monet.
I know she does it because she's hoping to convince Noah that they're destined to be together, see how many things they have in common??? But it's so invasive to have someone who just won't let you have a thing in peace. I'd almost like to see Noah announce a new passion, wait for her to lay claim to it, and then announce that he was just kidding, he actually hates it. Just to see what she'd do.
(Though honestly that would involve more effort than he usually gives to anything, including his dog)

I wouldn't have minded that either. If the videos were on par with his Final Fantasy stuff he could've done 3-4 big projects a year and then once a week do a Counter Monkey or rant about wrestling/movies. Would've been a manageable schedule and kept us fans happy with getting something on a consistent basis.

She can claim that his videos relax her and help her sleep, but really by watching Spoony and wrestling it just riles her up and gets those squirrels in her head running around.
Please, Warthog, take the advice from your family, friends, and therapist and walk away. Spoony isn't real. It's a character played by Noah. He's not a sexy, witty, badass gamer and comedian. He's a sad sad man who doesn't bathe or cut his hair, unemployed and living with his parents at 40 years old. Once he goes to Arizona he will be almost 2000 miles away. You will never meet. You will never fall in love.

Spoony has to be the one who fell from grace the most. He went from extremely popular and successful creator to a homeless crazy person in a couple of years. For no reason. He was the only one on the channel autism worth watching and now he is almost on Chris-chan level.
It's a shame, I remember liking his videos back in the days, before I even could understand English at all. I wonder if it's just my nostalgia talking and he was always shit?

Spoony was actually a bit enlightening for a short time. He made the best vids on early Youtube, I even threw some money at him on Patreon. The he saw that, freaked, and withdrew. He grew his hair out horribly and looked like a bum. He still did some ok Counter Monkeys and even the Wrestling videos weren't that bad. I actually really liked the Miles/Spoony movie reviews, except for that one where the tried a crossover, blah. Then he stopped, April left him, and he's been TDS/self hatred ever since. No content and the Patreons went from 5k a month to 296 or so now. That's about all I can catch up with
It was quite the spectacular fall. Quick edit, I played D&D for a few years and watched wrestling too very briefly, enough that his vids kinda rekindled some memories. The main thing is that he flat out quit at his best game.

Spoony is one of those artifacts from the early 2000s which is probably where most of us know him from. Honestly, I never gave a shit about his streaming or anything like that, I found him through his old game and movie reviews when he used to have his own site. I remember thinking the little robot prop he had was quaint and funny, reminded me of MST3k.
I don't think he will ever recover from his years long slump, and even if he could I very much doubt he could compete with todays reviewers given the sheer fact that it would be an impossible task for him to play catch up. His kind of edgy humor is a relic of 15-20 years ago and despite his name recognition, whatever there is left of that, it wouldn't be enough to re-launch a review career.
I honestly don't think he'll go any place but further down the spiral, and he has shown that he is perfectly content to do that.
