I just hope that if he loses Trump pardons Assange, Snowden, and every whistleblower just to piss the glowies off.
I'd like this too but it's pushing the envelope of what will probably never ever happen.
I hope I'm jinxing myself

Another funny thing happening is neolibs ripping on Bernie Bros who said Biden couldn't win.
They're using the claim that Biden is the most electable politician in US history while berating Sanders as someone who amounts to a fringe candidate who would've lost to Trump, and it's making the Bernie Bros even madder than the MAGA hats. Small victories.
I do believe that I said on Super Tuesday several months ago that if Biden actually did beat Trump, then I would think of the Bernie Brats and laugh.

I have, and I did.

Oh boy, I checked my job's chat room and it's full of people celebrating Biden's victory.
Mind you, none of them are Americans. The only one living in the US is an Indian expat. We have Serbians, Croatians, Pinoys and Kenyans celebrating.

Your future looks bleak.

It's actually an interesting question of what the Democrat New Order will be like. You've got the Biden/Clinton Neoliberal faction and the AOC/Galquaida tankies.

There's going to be a showdown for who gets to control the Uniparty state.

A local opinion column saying Tiktokers and Kpopers helped Biden win the election.

The media: bots messed with the 2016 election, it's terrible
Also the media: A bunch of 'K-pop stans', accounts who spammed pictures of K pop stars and are indistinguishable from bots, helped to save democracy, it's great!

Because these people never actually live among/near the minorities they profess to love oh so much.

These are the same sorts of people who, a century/century and a half ago would've paid their tuppeny bit or nickle to go and see the Human Zoo and simply stare at people from exotic lands.

They'll try sanitized and westernized versions of "their culture" and "their food" but rail at anyone who tries to mimic it at home.
This reminds me of a craze that went on in the 20's and 30's: menu collecting. A way to stand out above your peers was to go to exotic restaurants and order off their menu. The most exotic at the time being Chinese. Now...the Chinese food you see in the US isn't actually Chinese, it's altered Chinese dishes meant to appease US palates, and some include US dishes like fried chicken or hamburgers.

What these costal elites would do is go to these places, order the whitest food they knew on the menu, then take a menu home to show off to their other elites.

These same elitists do this shit to this day. Only now with Instagram, snapchat, and tiktok.

Honestly at this point, trump should just pretend the election never happened and just rally to try and cause faithless electors. He has a better chance of convincing 50 people to go faithless by talking about how awful the Biden administration will be than going through the courts. Plus we all know the dems are doing everything in their power to convince people to go faithless anyways.
Now that would reek of desperation, even if he had a good case to make with Biden's obvious cognitive decline.

I think battling this out in the courts is the more important battle to make, especially if there is undeniable proof of fraud. I care more about exposing the fraud than I do about Trump winning the election, personally. I'd like for the Democrats to NOT get away with this again.

Biden being more popular than Obama is pretty weird especially having someone like kamala as a VP (no one wanted her to be president what how did she automatically became a favorite vp) but these dems/cuckservatives probably really hated trump enough to vote him out even though trump's base with minorities in general grew, but I do feel like most people just got tired of his fanbase or his "rhetoric".
Kamala is literally an affirmative action candidate for three reasons. Black, female, cop. Weirdly because of the third she is probably part of Biden's support from white males. I'm not joking. Because speaking as one, I have been absolutely disgusted by the commie terrorist riots allowed by Democrats, so him taking a stance against them raised him at least somewhat in my estimation, and picking basically an actual cop (even a corrupt shitty one) says something about his potential stance on rioters. I am pretty much a free speech fanatic, but burning shit down, murdering people, and looting are not "speech" by any definition I recognize.

Okay, of all the things that helped Biden win, I would not put "TikTokers and Kpoppers" anywhere on that very long list.

Clickbait trash, as is common.

Believe it or not, it was from the main newspaper from my state.
Journalism is dead everywhere.

I do kind of want it to come down to SCOTUS just so Thomas can drop the hammer on Biden and destroy him. It'd be poetic. (And of course, my progtard family member believes Anita Hill).

Haha, yeah, this is true. Its not a meme the dead vote Democrat. Why we don't link death certificates to voter registration is beyond me. This has been a huge problem throughout our history and it just keeps happening.
Most serious voting fraud has been done with rigged machines throughout history though. Like the old lever machines. These were purely mechanical and you could literally just grind down one of the teeth on a gear so that it would skip every tenth or twentieth or whatever vote for the side you didn't like. There are probably even rigged machines of this sort in a museum or in storage somewhere. And don't get me started on these DRE shit machines. They are so easily rigged it's amazing.
You read the first half of his post, right?
@Secret Asshole is one of the few dudes here where I read their longposts so yeah.

I do wonder what Biden supporters think their guy is actually going to achieve for them in the next four years.

Okay, so on Day 1 he rejoins the Paris Climate Accords. That's nice and all, but it doesn't affect the daily life of pretty much anyone. He makes Coronavirus a higher priority. Lockdowns are a little stricter now, fewer already-vulnerable people die, but the economy suffers and increasing numbers of people aren't getting paid. So... helicopter money? But I think even the Dems are opposed to simply printing cash and doling it out, and the Senate might stop that even if the House passes it?

He'll want to paint himself as being on the right side of history by mandating trans women can use women's bathrooms, which will frighten a lot of women, but will make the 0.00001% of Americans who are trans women marginally happier until they find some other hill to die upon. Biden will want to mend ties with Europe. Having strong allies is great, sure, but much of that strength was reliant on the USA covering the bulk of Defence costs. Can the USA, in the current scenario afford to do that again? And again, this is something of a moral victory. It doesn't actually affect the life of your average American. Biden won't actually do anything on Israel. Jerusalem will retain its current status as capitol, the Israeli's will continue stealing as much land as they can as often as they can. And none of it has any affect on your average American.

What are they actually expecting from Biden other than he will make the nice sounds where Trump made the bad sounds?

Agreed. Thats taking a fringe group (youth vote) and then taking two subgroups of that group. Don't make sense.

Like @Gehenna mentioned above, I think Cruz and the rest of the GOP understands what time it is. They realize if they don't try to stop this now, it will end badly for them - and possibly not just badly electorally.
Pretty much this- one shouldn’t that assume a lack of visible support means a lack of actual support. The Republicans and Trump realize that they have overlapping fights, and that the media has created an anti-Republican mood at the moment. Hence the vague and general statements of support for ‘fair elections’- they have to hedge their bets and not reject Biden completely (of course there are traitors like Romney).

However, I don’t doubt that they’re legally working together in the background, and initiating suits of their own where they believe are necessary.

At the very minimum, Trump and the Republicans have to fight for Georgia and Michigan in order to retain their majority and stop Romney from becoming the kingmaker. Anything beyond that is technically ‘fluff’, but increases the chances of the Republicans getting the house as well- which they’d be stupid not to go for.

Honestly though, even if they find fraud, what realistically can be done as a remedy?
If it's within the statutory hard deadlines, both state and federal, the general remedy when it's an election challenge is that if it affects enough votes to swing the election, the actual winning candidate gets the electoral votes. You can already see the states where this might happen stalling and delaying shit in the hopes SCOTUS doesn't get a look at it, although Bush v. Gore aside, SCOTUS rarely overrules state courts about matters of state law. And states are probably going to be drafting their opinions around the doctrine in Michigan v. Long called the "adequate and independent state ground" doctrine to shield their opinions against SCOTUS scrutiny. However, in Bush, the Court based its jurisdiction on the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment, which there is no way to draft around.

Doesn't matter to them. So long as he acts all nice and non-brazen, they will consider him to have far more decency, integrity and be more reflective of the kind of person a president should show to the world. That, and all the over-emphasis on social justice over the economy. Plus, the MSM will do everything they can to coddle them and reassure the populace that Biden and Harris are the greatest people to inherit the government as opposed to that evil meanie-head fascist Trump.

Heck, just look at the trending articles on Twitter. It's all talk about how Harris made history somehow, and the pets that Biden is bringing to the White House. That, and Michelle Obama congratulating them, but warning them about the long road ahead, as if even she realizes just how screwed they are.

I agree @Random Internet Person. I'm also watching that Anita hill testimony and holy SHIT Biden fell far. Like its really noticeable his decline. He's going through a speech without ever tripping over his words, mumbling or losing his train of thought. I know it was a long time ago, but fuck me. Its like they're two different people.

We are reliably informed by media commentators that Joe Biden suffers from a lifelong stutter. That's why he says ridiculous things, forgets where he is and who he's married to, zones out with a 1000 yard stare in the middle of campaign events, has angry outbursts, and routinely ends his workday before 11 AM. So these videos you've found of him not doing these things several decades ago must be deep fakes, probably made by Russian Military Intelligence and Proud Boys.

If Biden is confirmed I see the de facto balkanization of the USA in our very near future, like Shasta County in NorCal ignoring what Sacramento tells them to do. This only delays the inevitable because the day is very near when the flyover states won't send food to the coasts, they won't pay taxes or send their kids to war. The Interstates won't be repaired and waterways will be dammed. If I can see it so can they. Banana republic tactics aren't going to work in the US. Sure, it's been corrupt for some time but it's never been this bad.

I've decided to direct more of my energy to state and local politics. I don't know whether the balkanization will be merely de facto or if it'll result in sovereign states, but either way it will be important to maintain some semblance of constitutional governance and American mores in the smaller units of government.

Biden will want to mend ties with Europe. Having strong allies is great, sure, but much of that strength was reliant on the USA covering the bulk of Defence costs. Can the USA, in the current scenario afford to do that again? .
Having seen what Obama did with NATO firsthand, current scenarios wouldn't mean shit. We're back to being the World Police again, and fuck the taxpayers if they don't like it.

Isn't having an unprecedented amount of votes for a candidate pretty common?
The population and registered voters of America keeps increasing.
Trump had more votes than any prior candidate in 2020 as well except for Biden.
Obama also had more votes than anyone prior to 2008, so did Bush for 2004.
That's true but I think people are suspicious because both of these candidates are pretty unpopular. The thing is each side hates the other side's candidates so fucking much I have no real disbelief that they'd show up just to vote against the other guy. They're both pieces of shit pretty much.
