Plagued Biden Derangement Syndrome - Blue man bad, KF, /pol/, Twitter and Reddit sperged over the 46th president

Dumb on this though since the whole debacle gives them the perfect excuse to reestablish Imperial Japan. Why be mad when a guy you like in a foreign election lost when you can use it to your advantage?
There is still an emperor anyway, he just has no legal powers anymore and doesn't do anything. If you mean reforming the Imperial Rule Assistance Council then they don't need to since the LDP wins almost every election anyway because the Japanese left is a mess.

The biggest issue with Biden is that he's old and looks it lets be honest there's one too many times when he seemed momentarily lost in the void. Granted Trump isn't that much younger but still Biden is almost 80. No way will he be able to run for re-election in 2024 unles dems want to commit political suicide when say Pence runs. This means his administration will be basically laying the groundwork for Kamala Harris(the one most likely to take the reigns). Like it or not but Trump still got 70 million to vote for him despite all the stuff that happened which awkwardly means a candidate that openly flirts with authoritarian tendencies isn't really that hard to get elected. And odds are dems will notice this and try to make their future candidates follow this model. Trump lost but 'trumpism' in some form is here to stay and both parties will use it Constitution and boring politics be damned. Americans don't want a boring politician in the 90's style(Biden) they want a strongman but who isn't too obviously incapable of leading(Trump).
Lets be honest if Obama was allowed to run in 2016 only at most a few democrats would have commented on the risk of a POTUS for life. So this time they at the limit chose Biden whose job whether the body politic realises it or not is to lay the groundwork for that strongman. There's no going back to 2015 let alone what some are hoping is the 1990's which Biden is supposed to represent. Obama had some of that die hard devotion among his biggest fans Trump had an even bigger level of devotion and that's how the trend lines are. I doubt anyone during the Reagan era was ever as big of an open fan of Reagan as the devotion showed for more recent politicians. Biden is just a stopgap measure. Chose in order to alleviate fears among middle aged centrists who still fondly remember the era of Clinton.

And if Biden dies before 2024, should we do a thread about "KHDS"(Kamala Harris Derangement Syndrome) along with one about the "KHES" (Kamala Harris Enslavement Syndrome)?

Yes, because there will be actual massive salt over her. The entire breadtube sphere will go into total meltdown over her pro-police and authoritarian tendencies, and the fact she's generally unpopular and got very few votes in the primary.

Lot to unpack here.

People that want strongmen are fucking tards.

Trump was a piss poor leader and relied on the dwindling number of people around him his entire presidency. He's such a retarded schizo that he ran off our best general of the last two decades.

Both Democrats and Republicans are hard pivoting back to the center, to the point that AOC says she wants to retire from politics.

Trump was a failed experiment nobody wants.

Strongmen can do well, Tito was the best leader Yugoslavia ever had. Trump didn't, though.

Source on AOC wanting to retire from politics? Given she got re-elected I'm surprised.

She's absolutely assblasted the DNC is hard pivot to the center. According to rumors, either she chills the fuck out, retires, or will face a DNC-backed primary challengers in 2022.

Hey, @Arm Pit Cream remember when you messaged me to take down a post where I "passive aggressive"-ly insulted your honour?
Where you cried about being insulted for so many fucking messages because I wouldn't take back the mean words?
No wonder you're O.K with election fraud.

:story: Nigger, get fucked.

Maybe the old guard is trying to pivot to the center which is if we're being honest is actually center right but things are very different among the rank and file. And no they cannot pivot to the center anymore. That's the hope but the truth is the US has moved beyond 1990's style politics. 9/11 the War on terror, the Recession, Trump getting elected and now the Covid pandemic have made 1990's style politics(which were never really as nice as they seem in retrospect) obsolete. Yes some in DC are hoping for a return to 'normalcy' and Biden is meant to be that guy. And maybe for a few months it will seem like that. But that's impossible in fact. There are a lot of issues bubbling just beneath the surface:abortion, gun politics, immigration that have no satisfactory solution. Covid made these issues secondary in 2020 so much so that it might be the first year in more than a decade without a mass shooting killing more than 7. But these issues will come roaring back in full force come spring 2021 and beyond. Trump lost and the hope is his style is over and done with that's the hope of DC. But its not over. Just wait for the mass shootings to restart once Covid burns itself out. I hate to say it but its inevitable. Covid defeated Trump not Biden. Once Covid is controlled the old issues will come back in full force. My money is on the 2nd amendment as the issue that will come back.

LOL it seems to happen every few decades, a radical counter-culture type gets popular and then it gets bitch slapped. It happened to the New Left in the 70s, the various white power militants in the 80s, and the 90s was relatively calm save for Oklahoma City and maybe Waco. Unironic communists are still relatively rare but their presence is known, maybe they'll wind the fuck down once their usefulness declines. I wonder what kind of radicals the 2020s will bring?

But for the most part, Biden is going to be a boring president, assuming SCOTUS doesn't side with King Cheeto. I honestly don't see this thread going too far, conservatives tend to be cowards when it comes to literally anything. They can't even handle slight disagreements.

If the second amendment does come back as a political argument it will be with a Supreme Court who take it seriously and millions more people (many of whom are Democrats) having bought guns this year. Democrats trying to grab guns at this point would be burning their shaky mandate and the senate would probably block it anyway.

The primary issues in the short term are definitely going to be the virus, economic recovery, and foreign policy.

Best thing about covid and potential civil war is that democrats have cooled on gun control

Also Bloomberg wasting a load of his money losing the primary took a lot of the torrents of cash out of his anti-second amendment movement.

The 2nd amendment will come back in full force as an issue soon enough. If anything the fact that so many guns were bought this year means quite a few individuals who aren't ready for a gun got one. Lets be honest there are people who are genuinely nuts out there.
Oklahoma city ironically is what killed the white power militias of the 90's. William Pierce author of the Turner Diaries and probably one of the most influential neo-nazis of the postwar era pretty much said that the attack deflated their movement. There is a 2nd reason why such movements got 'killed' the media downplayed politically motivated attacks creating the impression of a more tranquil society. Its a weird reality but most politically motivated attacks in the US are often downgraded to 'workplace violence/depression/something else but politics'. With the media not giving as much attention to attacks like the rampage that took place in New Hampshire in 1997 from a sovereign citizen type and many other incidents white power militias lost steam. If the media focused on every incident this would probably embolden such individuals. If you research the list of mass shootings in existence you'll find that its not uncommon for such individuals to do it for politically motivated reasons. And race is a common reason. But this is a fact that you realise only if you actually start to go incident by incident and read up on the perps. Insurgencies require not just willing fighters but also a press that is willing to emphasise that bit. If you kill 10 people and the media only mentions 'depression/anxiety' and not your manifesto about fighting the system others might not get emboldened since they'll assume their ideas are fringe ideas and there aren't that many who are willing to do it.

It always fucking does, but we don't really have anywhere a guy can engage in mass shootings because everyone is scared of the virus, and everything is shut down anyway. I always LOL @ the people who bought them THIS YEAR because dammit you had four years to get what you wanted. But yeah a lot of people who bought one, some are either crazy or haven't gotten a clue about gun safety or something.

Hopefully Jim Crow Joe will be stymied by Congress if he tries to push any kind of bullshit through but I'm just saying, if you want a piece and don't have one, don't sit on your laurels too long. You never know!
