I think it's always worth noting that the "fire in a crowded theater" analogy was used as an excuse to justify the federal government arresting anti-war and anti-slavery protesters, writers and speakers.

Reading through a few political forums, I find this comment that seems smart and logical
Democrats got their investigation of Russian election hacking and interference. Thus why can't the republicans get their investigation of potential election interference? Both had their own reasons to suspect election interference, both will find the results lacking. Unless your are a bipartisan hack I don't see why you would side with one and ignore another.

Or even worse are you afraid of an investigation of the election results? If the election results are valid there is no reason to not humour trump and let him have an investigation and remove doubt on the result. Why would you oppose that? Why would you oppose removing doubt and thus removing ammo that the right can have over you?

The same as the Bolsheviks and the NAtional Socialists. The same as the Inquisitors. These people have been sexually imprinted on power, and sadism is the only drive that matters. Rationality is irrelevant -- worse, meaningless.

IT's all -- all of it -- the psychology of a rapist, and the fixation on politicizing sexuality -- and sexualizing politics -- is so obvious once you see it, you can't unsee it. Here's the issue I have, and why I am trying to consume the minimal amount of news (because of the constant speculation):
Voting Fraud happened. Counts are fucked up, votes have been lost, numbers fucked up. It happened, and there are real examples.

In Michigan, their system fucked up to the tune of 4,000 votes in two counties* that they know of. Dude was arrested stealing mail and that mail included mail-in ballots. It happened.

The real question is does it matter?
Again, 4,000 votes doesn't come close to flipping Michigan. And the guy was arrested with 3 sealed ballots. So probably not really. But the pretending it doesn't happen, and the race to crown Biden before he strokes out, is just really pissing me off more than the fact the Joelester is about to ensure his son escapes justice while selling the US to China.

*And apparently it didn't actually affect vote totals, just the numbers being reported to the county dispensation to determine if the map should show red or blue. But its a very, very bad look

I can't find anything about Scytl getting their shit seized. But doing some fast digging on the company:

Apparently Scytl, after buying another company SOE, through that acquisition got the contract for DoD overseas voting. Assuming their website is accurate, they handle the votes for deployed troops in 9 states: New York, Washington, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, Mississippi and Indiana; interestingly none of them 'battlegrounds'.

But on shore they do projection and tally for 900 counties - from what I can tell they don't do official counts in the US (but do in other countries) but handle vote reporting from the counting agencies, and provide the election night estimates. Presumably some of those 900 counties may be in contested areas.

And they have had some issues, especially where they do the official counts.

I just want to note that the "record low approval rating" claim is an outright lie. Trump's approval rating has been and is about the same as Obama's at the same time in the term. deboonked
