Are there Trumpers acting like autistic retards on the internet right now? Definitely. Does "BDS" see 90% support by the MSM, A-List celebrities, big tech? Not even close. The lack of content in this thread shows that pretty clearly. So I'd say the two aren't even really comparable- yet, at least.

Not to mention shitting all over and mocking a well-respected Republican politician in Arizona before and after his death, and then getting super shocked when his widow and family openly show support to the other guy for not doing that, which in turn made Arizonans vote not for Biden but against Trump. Had Trump not poked the McCain bear he’d probably have won Arizona.

Lol people don't remember he was one of the Keating 5 involved in the Savings and Loan Scandal in the 80's that led to a lot of American's loosing a lot of their retirement funds.

He was scum and deserved to be treated as such.

Not saying I liked him - dude was pretty openly racist well into the 00’s and the romanticisation of him especially by liberals is sketchy - but just saying that a five-time draft dodger shouldn’t be shocked that making fun of a prisoner of war for being a prisoner of war would lead him to lose the state said prisoner of war was senator of.

Weird shit with your feet gets you disqualified for military service, who'd knew. I knew a guy that wanted to fight in Nam but had "flat feet" .

While it sounds silly bone spurs are another thing that would disqualify you for service due to the issues it can cause while marching for long distances and such.

McCain couldn't fly for shit, that much is certain.

If the “bone spurs” are a valid reason to dodge the draft or not isn’t the point, it could be for all I care. My point is that Trump didn’t make fun of McCain for being an open racist or, like you said, a member of the Keating 5. He made fun of him for being a Vietcong prisoner of war in a war Trump himself didn’t even fight in and mocked his service because of it. When Trump did that, especially with how respected McCain was in Arizona, he shouldn’t be screaming for a recount because he lost a historically red state that should’ve been an easy grab for him.
