You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Just because Monarchs tend to reign longer than elected officials doesn't mean they were more stable or long-term goal oriented. Do you have any idea how often kingdoms split and fought each other after a king died? Look up the War of the Roses and the Hundred Years War for a dose of reality as to what monarchies lead to. You think that just because elected officials are only in power for a short time they think in the short term just because they didn't reign for life. There's no evidence behind that other than your assumptions. Most government positions require you to be a citizen, which means what you do has an effect on the rest of your life.

In a way it shows one of the major flaws of the caste system.
