The US Army drafted literal retards, yet you try to defend draft-dodger Donald's honor like he was some fair maiden. Bone spurs aren't that big a deal and there are plenty of jobs in the Army that anyone can do and given that Donald, decades later, has no issues with spending his days golfing should be an indication that maybe this whole bone spur thing is oversold in his instance.

We still end up with someone who avoided his draft and then proceeded to insult someone who actually did serve and suffered during his time in Vietnam. It still makes Trump look like a petty idiot, that's talking about things he has no justifiable reason to blabber on about, things he doesn't understand, and it is still a massively disrepectful thing towards a vet, that is bound to make many other vets angry.

IIRC, the top hat is for a-loggy posts and is a negative rating. Although with a name such as MATI, I can see where confusion would arise; much in the same way that "Lunacy" means that the poster is a lunatic, rather than the poster just relaying an observation of something that's completely mental.

When it gets down to it, EVERYONE in the military has to meet certain standards and perform certain jobs. Even the fat black chick in PAC has to be able to qualify with her rifle and do the marches and runs.

Bone spurs put people out every day. Shoulder and spinal ones interfere with ruck carrying and now body armor wear. Ankle, foot, knee bone spurs prevent walking and long distance running/marching.

When it comes right down to it, on the sharp end of the stick, even an 80 IQ high school drop out cook is expected to get into the shit.

ESPECIALLY with modern warfare with assymetrical warfare going on, which eliminates enemy/friendly lines with zones. Even a Green Zone can get hit and your "job other than grunt" ends up out there firing his rifle in his boots, body armor, helmet, and jack shit else to keep hadji from overrunning the lines.
