Gave up their leverage? Their leverage is creating chaos. They haven't sacrificed anything unless they don't want to do that anymore. As I've said in several posts here or elsewhere, the only thing the Left will be able to count on to put a stop to BLM looting and rioting will be to call the National Guard (remember they can't really rely on the police anymore since they either got defunded or left) and then afterwards effectively label BLM (and Antifa) a domestic terrorist group. They'll embarrass themselves if they do that since they have for months excused these people's behavior.

If anything Pelosi not getting back into the house speaker position should be considered a win. Sure she may have some power still but you know it must burn that even if Biden wins, she doesn't hold THAT level of power anymore and likely won't get it back for this election fuckup.
