Why would trump take that risk? Try to hold recounts, have the black/s bloc attack the polling places, say that you tried and terrorists impeded the election, gives the legislature in those states an excuse to declare a failed election and nominate electors themselves. Trump is in the process of organizing a counter insurgency team that's loyal to him, he will win due to legislature appointed lawyers and then that buys him time to make a plan for the inevitable insurgency that's going to happen no matter if he wins by recount or direct appointment.

I wonder if the Murdoch family has noticed the viewers stop watching after Fox calling Arizona and seen complaints pour in about Cavuto cutting off Kayleigh McEnany and issued an edict that from now on Fox is going to be all the election fraud coverage, all the time.

Wait, if rioters raid polling places don't we get a similar situation to when they raided precincts holding criminal evidence and procedural documents and invalidated a ton of ongoing criminal cases? Wouldn't the votes in those polling places have to be discarded since the chain of custody was broken?

Well if you look at Bush vs Gore I think the Democrats really fucked themselves by trying to cheat on the recounts. If they hadn't done that they'd have been completed by December 14th and they'd have had a non-negligable chance of winning. As it was they were not done by then, the Republican state legislature nominated electors and their chance of winning was zero.

I hope they do fuck around and get a bunch of party hacks to do the recount with not quite all the flaws fixed and it gets thrown out.

In fact, that's almost guaranteed. The mail-in ballots which were counted with no Republican poll observers are still in there. The ballots from ineligible voters or that were received after the count are in there. All they're doing is not using the 'glitchy' machines that randomly gave Trump votes to Biden but never the other way around.
