I guess I'll just start with the most obvious undressing of Crowder by a decent source: Time to talk about Global Warming. Now, Global Warming is a complicated subject, firstly, many have exaggerated its effects for political gain. *Cough* Gore *cough* but it's certainly real and its effects in some areas worrying. Moreover, Nuclear energy and GMOs would revert it with relative ease but many in the camp that warns against it are also vehemently against both of these things, and instead use it to push ridiculous luddite bullshit that only hurts the economy. Giving the side against warning strength. Right... But it still happens. Crowder however, instead of pushing against the anti-capitalist luddite commie bullshit for what it is, spends his days pushing bullshit for the other side. By claiming it doesn't happen at all or that there's even Global Cooling. Which is ridiculous to anyone with any grasp of the facts. And this is how we loose. One side endorses commie ludite bullshit, the other simply claims conspiracy theories, and the ones that want to stop it with measures that work get sandwiched, as always.
But of course I should put my evidence where my mouth is. Where are these claims and how can they get debunked. Well thankfully for me potholer54, a science correspondant whom I'm not gonna say gets everything right (I didn't even watch his corona related videos and I honestly expect them to be bullshit, he does trust the narrative too much sometimes) but who does have a great grasp on climate change has already wiped the floor with Crowder's bullshit repeatedly. And Crowder has only responded by lying about him too, going on to challenge him to debates then claim the challenge was rejected. So I'll just link the videos by him explaining everything, so you can see both how wrong Crowder's claims were and how his response was as dishonest as it was appaling.
And if we get a documentation of the written exchange between the two in the meantime: (Btw I recommend looking at the comment section and you'll realize how people more neutral to the debate see how both sides act. I'll drive that point home later though.)
Do note how Crowder claims some issues "can only be adressed live" and that a live debate is needed to settle them. This is, of course, bullshit. Very obvious bullshit to anyone with a scientific background. Live debates are a good spectacle but that's really about it when it comes to science. Scientific fact is settled in long and drown out processes of evidence corroboration and hypothesis correction that is never done live. Peer review doesn't have any necessity for such nonesense. But of course, live debates allow petty wins to happen through sheer narrative and unchecked lies. These never stand in science because once evidence is corroborated and hypotheses are corrected they are shown to be bullshit, but they are decisive in live debates. This is the most defining moment for Crowder's character. He doesn't care about being right, only about getting petty wins, only about appearing right to those that don't double check what he's saying. Because all he needs is a small fanbase of such people to finance him. And he doesn't care about doing them a diservice by arming them with arguments that are already known to be wrong, after all, if they get beaten in debates. Who cares? They'll go to him to ask for more arguments and he'll sell them more bullshit. They'll always loose, but he'll always win. He harms his allies, knowingly so. He may be a right winger, but for all intents and purposes he'll do as much damage as a leftie plant could.
As for when I claimed he quite literally physically attacked a man and then edited the video to accuse the man of assaulting him. That happened in 2012. During the union protests. He was a Fox News aid back in those days and went to the protests to... "report", then came up with this pile of bollocks:

You'd think then that if Crowder truly was horrifyingly assaulted by thugs for trying to do his journalism, he'd press charges. Well no such thing he pressed no charges. How charitable of him! And that's despite having the guy on video punching him too! Oh... oh yeah his video also had what had come before the punch. It had evidence that it was not the man that had started the fight, but that indeed it was crowder whom had grabbed the guy by the back and thrown him at the floor after repeated attempts at starting a fight had yielded no result, and ony after this act of agression did the unioner respond. Hell the fucking county prosecutor had to make a statement to fucking gawker of all people explaining he simply cannot possibly prosecute a case of self defense that blatant:

This is the character of the man you're trusting. A petty, occasionally violent megalomaniac that has absolutely no qualms making you and your beliefs look like bullshit if it gets him his time in the spotlight, someone so low even genocyde denying scumbags can use him as an avenue of attack against your side, and anyone with any grasp of the facts is bound to find multiple wrong statements in most of his articles. Crowder is the kinda guy you're better off actively distancing from if you happen to fall in the same camp, 'cause he'll inevitably make you look like lunatics sooner or later. This is why I said I'd rather have him as an enemy. Do note how I openly admitted potholer's falibility right from the start. This is relatively normal for most people, you can't just get everything right, we all have weak spots. And I'm all too used to having people abuse said weakspots to attack other issues to which they are irrelevant. But point is, some people ARE weakspots, those who simply refuse to actually learn and arrogantly and dishonestly bend the facts in order to gain petty wins in the short term. When neutral people see your sources act this way they become convinced your side can't be trusted. They hurt more than an enemy ever could. And this is what I hoped to illustrate here, first with a long and serious debate handled by good sources, showcasing how when under pressure Crowder simply cannot compare to a proper fact-checking autist, and then with an event so fucking pathetic it got the entire media circus you're seeing on this very thread get everything wrong to get a proper win against the right wing because Crowder seriously fell that low when he couldn't get a rise out of the left. He simply cannot be trusted to avoid giving your enemies more ammo, it is that simple.
