If you have free time this weekend, try a movie marathon or a video game binge. Going out for an hour's walk or hanging with chill friends over lunch is good too. Whatever you do, make sure its engrossing and helps take up your thoughts. The more engaging the better. That way you can actually literally c-o-p-e or at least enjoy yourself instead of dooming. There's nothing wrong with it.

I might bury my head in the sand and play stardew valley for 2 days straight - farming sims really absorb me!

Alan Dershowitz Predicts Trump Will Win Pennsylvania Lawsuit

Attorney Alan Dershowitz, the outspoken Democrat who defended President Trump during the Senate impeachment trial, predicts that the president will prevail in his Pennsylvania lawsuit.

Speaking with “Breitbart News Tonight,” Dershowitz said that the U.S. Supreme Court will likely take up the president’s lawsuit against Pennsylvania due to the fact that the state’s court implemented election laws that the state legislature did not approve.

“I do think that Trump will win the Pennsylvania lawsuit … namely, the lawsuit that challenges ballots that were filed before the end of Election Day, but not received until after Election Day,” Dershowitz said.

“The [Pennsylvania] legislature had basically said no to that, and the state Supreme Court said yes because of the pandemic,” he continued. “That may have been the right decision in some theoretical sense, but the Constitution doesn’t permit anybody in the state but the legislature to make decisions about elections.”

Citing the Bush v. Gore case in 2000, Dershowitz asserted that President Trump may very well overturn the Pennsylvania election call if he and his legal team can prove that the segregated ballots helped sway the election.

“That was decided [inaudible] in Bush versus Gore, and I think that four-to-four vote would become a five-to-four vote if the issue came before the Supreme Court and there were enough disputed ballots to make a difference in the outcome of the election. That remains to be seen,” he said, later adding: “As I understand the facts of the case — although I think what the judiciary did may have been the right thing morally: if you get your ballot in on time, you shouldn’t be denied the vote just because the post office screwed up — I don’t think you can really make that argument under Article Two. I do think that the Republican argument is the stronger one.”

“The Supreme Court will take that case only if it would make a difference, only if the plaintiffs — the Republicans — can show that the number of disputed ballots that were subject to sequestration by Justice Alito’s decision exceeds the difference between the winning margin and the losing margin,” he concluded, later adding: “The Pennsylvania constitutional argument is a wholesale argument that clearly belongs in federal courts.”

As The Daily Wire reported, Justice Samuel Alito hinted that SCOTUS might take up the Pennsylvania case when he ordered that the state’s election boards segregate ballots that arrived after 8 PM on election day.

“All county boards of election are hereby ordered, pending further order of the Court, to comply with the following guidance provided by the Secretary of the Commonwealth on October 28 and November 1, namely, (1) that all ballots received by mail after 8:00 p.m. on November 3 be segregated and kept ‘in a secure, safe and sealed container separate from other voted ballots,’ and (2) that all such ballots, if counted, be counted separately,” Associate Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the Order. “Pa. Dep’t of State, Pennsylvania Guidance for Mail-in and Absentee Ballots Received From the United States Postal Service After 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 (Oct. 28, 2020); Pa. Dep’t of State, Canvassing Segregated Mail-in and Civilian Absentee Ballots Received by Mail After 8:00 p .m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 and Before 5:00 p .m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 (Nov. 1, 2020).”

Afghanistan's military is now more than capable of dealing with their dissidents; So much money and training we have invested into the military and economy.
Ftfy. They're just not very bright, bless their hearts. At least they know how to fight, unlike Iraqis.

There's no reason we should have went there in the first place. Esper did not do his job at home or abroad and that's why he's fired.
Agreed, except removing the Taliban was the one instance of regime change I could get behind; but going after Saddam and Gaddafi were absolute mistakes.

Where in South Dakota do you think have good farmlands to bug out and live off the grid?

Farming? Try ranching instead, the pay is better. The Badlands are awesome, though.

Which other states would be good to start a homestead away from these crazies before they emigrate from their blue hives?

And which states have the towns/communities that have the most guns, christian, who love their families/friends as much as they love their country?

Roll Tide!

Not sure what anyone can take from this, but I had another bunch of weird dreams about the election last night. The first one was about a conflict I don't remember much of, but the ending stuck with me because it was a bunch of r/thedonald guys cheering and waving american flags on top of a Mayan stepped pyramid, celebrating some kind of victory. I asked why they were cheering, but someone nearby said to just 'let them have their victory this time.'

The other one was equally topical but too hard to explain and I barely remember anything from it outside of the fact that I woke up extremely suddenly during the middle of it and my heart rate was around 210bpm.

It probably doesn't mean anything, but it was fun to entertain.

I've actually had two dreams on the subject this week. One where Trump is shot and one where Biden is shot. Suffice it to say, the aftermath was chaotic.

I'd rather Trump was in the white house than literally anyone else except maybe the sleepy doctor from the 2016 electoral race tbqh.

If it's any consolation, the topical bit from the second dream I had was what felt like an exorcism of a demonic Joe Biden, or at least someone who looked really similar to him.

The firing of Esper was absolutely strategic and another burnt bridge for Biden to deal with should he manage to win. Trump wanted to send troops home from Afghanistan in large numbers.

Esper was opposed to this, as such a rapid pullout causes a power vacuum and could lead to the rise of insurgency (not forgetting that shit, Obama). Esper is actually in the right here, but it's yet another chess move done by the president.

1. If Biden rehires Esper or goes back on returning troops in large numbers, then he's a proponent of endless war and war profiteering. He always ends speeches with "God bless our troops", but this route appears to shit all over them.

2. If Biden follows through with the plan, he creates a power vacuum in the region and is responsible for the rise of yet another terror group in the region.
So it’s a lose/lose for Biden?
You guys who keep talking like you assume RINOs aren't going to RINO. Everyone knows full well, that as long ad Democrats throw a few crumbs to the right RINO, they'll cave, so get ready for bailouts, stupid meaningless regulations, and more welfare expansion at the very minimum.
I’m pretty sure nobody was doubting that possibility. Hell, some are expecting that to happen. I know I am given how the establishment has pushed back on everything Trump has done at every turn.

People saying 'Well he got ACB on the court. That's why I'm voting for him again' have completely missed that ACB is only the final part of it. The media have been so fixated on bullshit that they've missed what Trump's play actually was.

I find myself increasingly thinking that RBGs death on Ros Hashanah may have been the divine will of kek.

I never disagreed with any of this. In fact if you look back at my post history you can see I've made this point many, many times. The problem though, is that without a senate majority, more will get through than if Republicans held the Senate. Sure, things would still be shit but they would be LESS shit. This is what I'm talking about. A lack of a desire to act due to the belief it will do nothing. It very well might avail us nothing, but fighting is preferable than rolling over and becoming good little slaves. I will die before that happens.

The sooner people start thinking like that, the sooner we can organize and accomplish something. Who fucking cares if they're going to crack down on us harder? They've already got their lists. There is nothing left to lose.
I'm all for organizing. Look up the "Freedombox" Linux server OS. You can create your own personal server that you can chat on.

As for the doomering, yeah, things will be shit. I can't disagree there. I do think Biden will be the last gasp of neoliberalism. Kamala Harris has no charisma so she'll be a one term president. (I know, I know, it won't matter if Democrats cheat, but if they are that blatent about election rigging then the whole system will be illegitimate and the system will truly break down.)

Anyway, a Biden administration is already lining up to be a disaster.

Defund the Police is failing at an amazing rate already. The National mask mandate is going to undermine law and order even more as people realize it is selectively applied at the best of times.

A lockdown is going to kill the economy. Or ignored out right.

Biden has a cabinet full of Republicans and warmongers.

(A few things I speculate for the future.)
Biden is going to pack the courts to protect Roe V Wade. Problem is that I think Roe V Wade will apply to genetic engineering also. So in reality all they are doing is enshrining the right of the elites to give their children more advantages.

I also worry about "Peak Oil". In my opinion their plans for Universal Healthcare are based of estimates from an oil based economy that is going to disappear (estimates vary from 2030 to 2040.)

In the end though, progressives sold out their values for a pro-war neoliberal that is going to stomp them out and I relish that because I am a spiteful monster.

Yes, things will go to shit but I figure you have to let some people hang themselves with their own rope.

Don't cows outnumber people by some ridiculous ratio in South Dakota?

I had a dream. About war. I saw a bunch of troops wading unto the shore as part of a naval landing. It felt as if it was a kirean beach on the eastern side.

I seen men dressed in Chinese uniforms.

Dont know if it means trump gets elected or not. Guess it does since Biden sold out to the ccp

I find myself increasingly thinking that RBGs death on Ros Hashanah may have been the divine will of kek.

If it wasn't because people were predicting its coming since Obama I'd say Americans have earned their ego 'cause they got god himself striking the infidels to save the Don. As it stands though, she probably just croaked from the pure concentrated vile in her blood as she planned her part in the coup we're witnessing now. There's only so much toxin the human body can take.

So it’s a lose/lose for Biden?
Essentially. He can't even acknowledge the issue without throwing Obama under the bus.

If he says to bring troops home, then the rise of ISIS will be brought up and he will be asked how he can prevent what Obama did in Iraq.

If he say to keep the troops to prevent a vacuum, he essentially confirms that Obama made a mistake with his decision of bringing home the troops.

Also fun fact: Guess who just had a new 700+ page memoir released?

Hopefully, but I'm not going to be optimistic.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on”;

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings—nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run—
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Was there blood on the steps? That would be fucking awesome!

Disclaimer : My statement that it is 'awesome' applies only in Minecraft or in dream. It is my long-standing policy that enemies of the state may not have their hearts removed and thrown down pyramid steps in a bizarre neo Aztec ceremony except after due process seen over by the High Priest. We are after all one nation under Huitzilopochtli.

New York Jews hate Israelis.
They hate Israel as it currently exists and want it to cuck to the Arabs, not realizing that this would destroy Israel. Israelis are somewhat more realistic about this. Old school Russian Jews also don't like American Jews, because they're way too accepting of socialism.

Israeli Jews think Russian Jews aren't really Jews because they can't Mediterranean recipes like shakshuka properly, an argument which has some merit.

If you're not doing groundbreaking work in physics and you can't cook shakshuka you ain't Jewish.

Don't forget the Days of Rage in 1969 which happened after Weather Underground was formed by the Students for a Democratic Society(SDS). It involved 34+ injured and 250+ arrested, luckily no one died. The group lasted until 1977 when they were doing terrorist attacks out of plain sight. Someone should post a detailed history about this organization since I have little knowledge about it.

This is a good and long look at the days of rage.
