I hope that if western society ends up turning out to be a failed state, we somehow still get to keep social media so I can laugh at zoomers and formally-middle class suburban moms starving to death on the streets (but at least we refer to them by their preferred pronouns).

You have been told this thrice now, please do try to remember it. The Supreme Court makeup is now 6-3 Republican - Democrat, and everyone assumes Roberts will vote democrat. He is UTTERLY IRRELEVANT to a deciding vote.

I liked the way at the end of the Right Side Broadcasting clip they freely admitted it was chaos. One of them said 'The thing is it was grassroots organized. Or rather not organized' and they all said they'd try and do a better job next time.

This is why I advised people to not wear Trump paraphernalia when traveling to and from the event, only at the event.

If any of the right-leaning justices flip on Trump in a SCOTUS vote regarding the election, it's Roberts. The Constitutional conservatives who are Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett were all attacked by the Democrats during their confirmation hearings. They know who they're dealing with. Do you think guys like Thomas and Kavanaugh are going to give the Dems more power after being falsely accused of rape and smeared? Is Alito going to give them more power after being accused of being a racist? Is Barrett going to give them more power after being accused of trying to bring her "dogma" to the court? Is Gorsuch going to give them more power after they attacked him? Does anyone think they're going to let them get in power and subsequently pack the court? I don't think so.

Aside from Barrett, who recused herself because she was new to SCOTUS, the four others wanted to take up the Pennsylvania ballots case. I don't think any of these five people are going to turn on the President.

Roberts is a rock solid member of the left wing bloc. He will vote for Biden period

The court isnt 6-3 it is 5-4

When RBG was "alive" it wasnt 5-4, it was 4-5

Roberts cast his lot in NFIB v. Sebelius as bending to pressure tactics and has never looked back. He will never stop throwing others into the crocodile's maw hoping it will leave him alone

Alito was spitting some straight fire at the Federalist Society a few days ago. Makes me wonder what he is saying behind closed doors. He's the clear leader of the right wing bloc on the court since Thomas doesnt like to be front and center. I think Alito will make the argument to Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Barrett that enough is enough (his speech to the FS was basically saying this over and over again) and they have to stand up to the infringement of liberties and general left wing shenanigans sometime and that time is now. If he does, will he convince them? I dunno

Not really, but I don't know if the courts are even in session on the weekends. Big news was the Million MAGA March, which came and went with the predictable lies and gaslighting about crowd sizes and no unfortunate whale beachings via Dodge Charger.
