I think the one that just got thrown out in Michigan was a lawsuit being filed by private citizens with no relation to Trump's team.

People tend to forget ANTIFA only has the balls to operate in areas where they have the full consent and support of local politicians, who will bail their ass out as long as they don't step too far over the line. One of the persistent reasons these fuckers show up in areas like Portland is because no one there will lift a finger to stop them, and anyone who dares give them the iron upside the head they richly deserve will be cracked down on with full force to be made an example of.
The problem is that all this BLM and ANTIFA crap has started to fuck with the wrong people. They pushed too hard, and not only have they alienated Joe Average, but Juan Average, Jamal Average, and most recently, Joachim Average. Their response to these groups telling them to fuck off has been absolutely surreal: Calling Black people who dissent the hard R. Calling Hispanics who won't conform all manner of racial slurs. Attacking an orthodox Jewish community with a massive group of black-clad socialists with absolutely no self-awareness.
It's not left vs right anymore. It's literally everyone against the extreme left and their enablers.

I'm not sure the police or national guard would want to deal with them. The Democrats were talking about defunding or abolishing the police. Both police and military are overwhelmingly Republican. There have already been reports of the police taking the side of the Proud Boys over AntiFa and BLM. The police and NG could ignore an illegal order to shoot into the crowd and then arrest the person giving the order.
And if the police won't deal with them and the NG won't do it you've basically got a revolution. The state has lost its coercive power and the revolutionary forces have gained it.

The problem is that the Police are being not just demonetized, but directly held in a vice. Most are familiar with the leaks by now, but the TL;DR from the cops in areas like NYC and Portland is that if you crack down on the leftist activists, your pension is forfeit. Voice public support for the likes of Trump, and your job is history. In extreme-blue areas like NYC, the police will throw you to the wolves in seconds if you get attacked by the ANTIFA crowd, because it's easier for them to appease them and let them burn down your home or business than to do the right thing and face sanctions.
This ongoing idiocy is why they fucking hate the second amendment in any form and constantly insist on blatantly unconstitutional shit like Duty to Retreat. They've weakened the state's ability to curtail these clowns in every capacity, but we live in the USA, and even in the most restrictive regions, tons of people still own firearms. They want the populace disarmed. Your ability to resist them offends them.

That is a common thread among liberals. They are impatient and impertinent. They want "the quick fix" so they throw themselves behind whatever "revolutionary" fix they come up with. (Notice how defund the Police has been rolled out. Immediate cuts, loud virtue signaling but no plan. They don't have the details on how social workers will be integrated into the police force, nor standards to ensure safety, or what training they even need. Police forces are being depleted and it will be probably 3 years before a social worker is even put on the force.)
The right want evolutionary change. Create a policy, see what its effects are, make further changes. They have patience and will try to take stock of the situation.
So the left will have numbers but the right will negate that by hitting harder when they do hit.

I just had a chat with an old friend of mine about this situation. And while he's not pozzed I just realized he didn't make the ties to electoral fraud until I made the comparisons to the borbon restoration, point at which he just lost his shit about as hard as I've done on this very thread some pages back. And that's made me realice one thing.
The Bourbon Restoration, the political system it operated under, and the socioeconomic and political consequences it had for the nation should really be taught in school as basic education EVERYWHERE during the last year of mandatory schooling.
And I'm not exaggerating here when I say EVERYWHERE. Even on countries with literally 0 ties to Spain, even to people who wouldn't even be able to point at the Iberian Peninsula on a fucking map. EVERY. SINGLE. DUNCE on this blue ball of mysery floating in space should know what they did, how and what consequences it had.
Because it's the best example we'll ever get of how Democracy can collapse under its own weight if corruption isn't shed. And I mean, thinking about it, the comparisons likely aren't coincidence. Those motherfuckers literally wrote the damned instruction manual on electoral fraud. Because they were under such scrutiny thanks to the rise of liberal notions like freedom of speech and press, and they had to rig not just general but regional elections too for 16 whole damned years, those fuckers slowly but surely implemented and depleted every single fucking way an election can be rigged and showcased it to the whole damned world. That's why Biden's doing the same shit, there's just no way to rig this shit they didn't pull.
Even the blasted machines. You might say, how the fuck would someone that lived before computers ever existed use machines to rig an election? Well they didn't use machines, but they did hire the figure of the "Gran Elector" whose supposed job was to ensure the counting had been done correctly but whose actual job was to add and substract just enough votes from each pot to make sure their desired result happened on every single circumscription with the least amount of downright fuckery going at that level, a process known as "Encasillamiento", which is the same fucking bullshit Dominion's pulled except using pen and paper instead of an algorithm.
This is basically required knowledge for democracies to have. It's like the 2nd ammendment of voting. It's not about individual rights, but the requirement a nation has to have a healthy portion of the population armed with these tools so they can serve to protect the herd. That's why it needs to be taught. Everyone, and I mean everyone needs to understand firmly how they did this, why, and what it caused. So when something like this happens again they know what they're looking at.

Optics don't matter either way at this point. If Trump does manage to get the re-election, just like how we feel with Joe, half the country will view him as illegitimate. The only good thing that could come from this is using it to the advantage of the country, and these four years to purge these people and fix our elections. Good optics went out the moment Joe won via fraud. It's a blood sport now.

It's more than that. I've mentioned it before but one thing we saw in GamerGate (which, like it or not, is kinda connected to this, being the culture war version of what the radical left is doing elsewhere) is that the left has two problems that keep coming up:
- The left, thanks to being in a bubble, thinks they have FAR more support than they actually do. This causes them to jump the gun, only to be surprised when there's pushback, because "no one could ever disagree with them." The radical left is 8% of the country and of that 8% an even smaller cut is actually active and not just passive supporters of their bullshit, but if you ask the radical left they're 99% of the country except for some vague racist Trump Supporters "somewhere out there in the flyover states."
- The left presumes all systems are static except for the changes they make to it -- and only they are allowed to make changes to it, changes only go in one direction (more lefty), et cetera. "Progress" is only ever positive, no matter the change, and positive change is defined as ever more authoritarian and lefty (read: ever closer to their communist utopia).
Defund the police is the same way. They want a change. They think everyone agrees with them other than a astonishingly small number of literal monsters who can be ignored or silenced -- or confused people who merely don't know that what the radical left wants for them is the one true path towards a golden (Marxist) Utopia. And defunding the police must not cause ANY changes to the system other than less or no police -- so even with less resources, crime must not go down, response times must remain the same, police must still treat the left with the same respect even as they take a shit on them, et cetera.
It's amazing to see the kind of stupidity occur over and over again. It's some sort of combination of epistemic closure, indoctrination, and whatever uncle Yuri was warning us about. The scary thing is, though, I have no idea how to combat it, other than telling them no and letting them bash their heads against reality until they get bored and go away, which only makes them decide they need to find some way to do it without anyone's permission because obviously everyone agrees with them...
