I agree that they will not report anything they don't have to that makes the democrats look bad, but there are just some things that you can't get away with not reporting in their shoes. The most obvious example would be a SCOTUS ruling effectively handing the presidency to trump. They can't put their own spin on in it and will, but they can't literally ignore it and pretend as if it didn't happen. Bidens campaign staff getting arrested kind of becomes hard to stonewall, especially when you would have the pro trump (little of it, there may be) plastering it over what wall space they can.

There's nothing more admirable than people who were offered absolute power and turned it down for the good of the country. The only examples i can think of are Washington (who was offered the post of King but instead stepped down), Lee Teng Hui (was elected President for Life by a rigged system, when students complained he agreed with them, won democratic elections and stepped down after two terms) and Juan Carlos.

The thing about absolute power is that the only people you'd trust to wield it are the ones who turn it down.
