Unless Trump does something major, I am getting number to the news each passing day. Like I was happy watching the proud boys and the other trumper getting happy fucking around with ANTIFA and shit. Like it must be liberating since the election is a fraud, the media has failed and now the optics are all gone. Biden abandoning BLM and ANTIFA also must have played a role as well in demoralizing the far left since they have no friends anywhere. The right wing is mad as well and the neoliberals don't care about them no more.

The thing I always find amazing about the 84 election is how the Hell did Mondale manage to lose Hawaii and Massachusetts?

I mean I know the answer, you can't campaign based on "This Reagan thing isn't working! Elect discount Jimmy Carter! Malaise Forever!", But you'd think he would have pulled permanently liberal Hawaii and Massachusetts, which is the traditional home of the more progressive politics in the US.

If she goes hard after Christmas celebrations using COVID-19, it could have a good shot at backfiring on her.

Americans really love Christmas and this even applies to the atheistic urban bugmen as well. Thanksgiving being forcibly subject to mask talisman rituals and social distancing will be risky enough as it is.

True, but I always got the feeling that Gretchen Whitmer is the kind of person who would extend lockdown even if there was a vaccine freely available and the other Democrat leaders decided to drop the mask mandates and lockdowns. For her, it's mostly a power trip at this point.

Whitmer and Cuomo have the kind of personalities often seen in Third World dictators and despotic kings

Reading through everyone’s post warms my blackened heart. I’m preparing for the worst with the Biden presidency but I think trump may have this. Seeing the March yesterday and the fights that broke out last night leads me to believe everyone is tired of the lefts shit. The left and neoliberals have no idea what hell they have unleashed.

The thing about Whitmer and Cuomo is that they want to be seen as the face of #TheResistance and one of the ways they did that was opposing Trump's call to reopen. And it seems Whitmer has gone all in on that aspect.
