My favorite Metallica song is on LoadMetallica’s Load and ReLoad albums are really good.
I really hate how the professional wrestling fandom has been co-opted by neckbeards who nitpick everything to death Along with the shitty podcasts, 'journalists', and other faggots trying to make a quick buck pretending to be experts. No one has a single clue how to make wrestling appealing to people not in the fandom.WWE is the best Wrestling company in the world but no wrestling is currently worth watching.
I think we can make a good guess based on the difference between the product now, and when it was doing better in the past. (Not counting the wrestling boom of the late 90s)No one has a single clue how to make wrestling appealing to people not in the fandom.
I'd argue the rise of UFC and MMA contribute the drop as well as the closing of WCW. Even if the shows are great across the board, the ratings will never be that high again. People don't watch TV on a schedule with streaming options available. Ratings don't seem like that big of a deal anymore since they're on the USA network (what else are you gonna watch on there) and they got the Fox deal. What's even is the appeal of pro wrestling?I think we can make a good guess based on the difference between the product now, and when it was doing better in the past. The fact that WWE can't magically create a wrestling boom like the one of the late 90s aside, Vince had the opportunity to buy UFC in '94 or '95 but chose not too. Ratings impact things like how they got the Fox Deal. Like for example, the advertising for the third hour of Raw alone got them a guaranteed contract for 178 million dollars.I'd argue the rise of UFC and MMA contribute the drop as well as the closing of WCW. Yeah I'm a big nerd for Star Trek, but I honestly don't recommend any of it except for The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.At least 90% of Star Trek is meh. Same with SH stuff. Damn nurdz!
TOS is fun if you approach it with the right mindset, and the TOS movies 2, 3, and 4 are pretty good unironically.Yeah I'm a big nerd for Star Trek, but I honestly don't recommend any of it except for The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.
