Aqua was supposed to release a Chinese song for LoL Worlds last month which would've been a pretty big deal, but when the Triggering happened Hololive was suspended from Bilibili and she was unable to post it. Someone ended up leaking the track and because it's entitled "Take Over" the chinks rallied around it thinking their "queen" had approved of their actions against the evil dragon.

I've thoroughly enjoyed falling down the VTuber rabbit hole as almost everything else I've been watching recently has been ruined by the brainlet Twitch streamers bringing their shit tier takes on politics into their videos.

Is that why my attempt to get back into streaming isn’t getting any viewers? Cause I‘m not interested in talking politics?

Also, while I was trying to diagnose an issue with my VR headset over the weekend.* And because of that I popped into VR theater several times. And one of my test videos was the Aqua BilliBilli concert live, and I have to say watching it in VR theater was really great, and you notice a lot of stuff you don‘t by just watching it on an ipad.
anyway, I thought I’d see whether anyone was interested in doing a group watch of it in Bigscreen VR. I’ve never hosted something in there, so I don’t know how feasible it is, but if it’s doable, I’d be happy to set up a stream of it.



*Turns out there’s some really nasty bitcoin trojan that turns itself on after x period of time with no keyboard/mouse movement, but doesn’t count VR or Xbox controllers in there, in case anyone else has the same issue. It also isn’t picked up by Malware scanners, so fuck off. It’s called like dgupdate.exe.

Fuck no, chuubas should stay as far away from that landmine as humanly possible. People watch Vtubers because they’re an escape from the crushing reality of life, bringing baggage like politics is just asking for trouble.

Which is weird, because half the draw of chuubas is them breaking kayfabe and revealing tidbits of their irl life, like Gura owning an avacado tree and her horrid poorfag habits. I guess it’s because these topics are relatable whereas Joe Biden definitely rigging the election in X states is devisive?

Most people finding out about Kira's graduation that have been fans of him are more surprised he stuck around this long. He took huge breaks all the time and made someone like Luna appear to be the pinnacle of health. Cover did their best to keep him around so this is his own decision to leave because he is not in the physical condition to do this type of work, which is saying a lot. I don't know what the general opinion on Mouse is but I do respect her for continuing to perform while bedridden.

She is jealous for some reason of Gura minecraft skills but it lasted until chat told her what she did in that 3 hours stream

1. Started the construction of a Shark monument
2. Got distracted like 10000000 times and did not finish it
3. Tried to make a christmas tree, borked the distribution of the samplings and the tree spawned wrong
4. While she was wandering decided to make a Tennis ball to troll Watson (she made a huge magnifying glass on the sky that looks like a tennis racket) could not find the ingredients to paint the cubes green, painted it Orange and singed the Space Jam theme
5. Went to the Atlantis construction site that Watson did, did not do anything, rip the dream
6. Got a bunch of eggs from Kiara farm, went to Haachama room and went full How To.. on her room throwing eggs everywhere

So yeah, i would not take Gura skills seriously, in other news Watson is threatening us with playing Rune Factory 4

For example, fucking with Luna during her "takoyaki"-making by directly adding olive oil at random when she remembers to add any at all, telling Kiara that she's going to clean her filthy pot before dumping raw chicken into it, and etc.

She does eat what she cooks though, so maybe she just has a strong stomach.

There's also the fact most people don't give a flying pig's shit what the politics of the people they watch are anymore, precisely because of the dumpster fire the mainstream has become. I don't care what elites, quislings and sellouts think, and neither do a lot of people. And I'm on record saying that them trying to twist our arms into the "Go with the hive mind, or you're a wacist" bullshit is EXACTLY why v-tubing had a boom; you can corral me into four walls, but i'm sure as fuck not going to watch your propagandist slop.

I recently started expanding into more vtuber territory by watching Gura clips and some other holo vtubers. The experience is completely different, I enjoy them but I kinda feel like they're also more scripted. Not as in word for word but like they have an extra sense of what they can and cannot discuss etc. So while it's been fun and I definitely see the appeal, especially with Gura and Amelia, it's kinda different coming from streams where there are regular discussions about extreme hentai tags and streamers who can mostly collab with whoever they want when they want.
