It's a strange term that I think is borrowed from Japanese fans when talking about the actors behind the characters, in addition to calling said actors "souls." I honestly find the whole fucking thing really confusing so I just refer to them as their past life self but make a clear separation of when I'm talking about one personality or the other by using their name; in the case of Ina, it would be either Nagu or wooperfuri. The only reason I refer to Calli/Dice as Karen is because it makes it easier to use that when referring to her career as a whole.
The degree of separation helps people keep the two apart, so there’s no bleedthrough of knowledge about their past lives leaking into discussion they bring up in character. Doesn’t really help in the case of Calli, since she keeps giving herself away like a brainlet, but there’s something to be said about doxxing yourself instead of letting others do it to you.
As I mentioned before, it really is a matter of preference whether a content creator continues their other stuff in addition to hololive. I know Matsuri does stuff on another channel so her face is well known at this point as well. Noel still does some ASMR and Coco still operates kson. As for Calli, she is still very much in business as Dice, accepting commissions for stuff (probably not anything big anymore) although probably not making music under that name; it's just for her animation at this point. Ina's a bit up in the air but I'm sure she also still accepts commissions under Nagu.
I'm a little surprised that this wasn't completely expected of her.
Her official senzawa channel is still up with classic hits like 'Kiss Yo Homies' and 'bitch lasagyna'. Incidentally, both that channel and her Gura one hit one million subscribers in the same week, so she probably got two golden YouTube play buttons that week. She also hasn't scrubbed her twitter account, although her Instagram one is privated.
