The Democrats have used Trump's term to fabricate a redemption arc for themselves, and especially for the sake of the rank-and-file progressives. Between the animus they've stirred against him, that which he generated for himself, and that which they'll continue to whip up against him and conservatives as a whole in their exercise of the news media, schools, and other cultural conduits, the progressives will lick the derby shoes of the establishment they claim to fight against-- just as they did when Occupy Wall Street disintegrated-- since the Democratic party was opposed to Trump (and anything that can be conceived as conservative tendencies) and progressives consider him the great Satan.

I don't have much to say on Irishman, but I can't stand the hate Trump gets for "not doing enough". Really? You mean to tell me you thought he'd build a AOT wall across the Mexico border, imprison God-Emperess of the left Hillary Clinton AND clean up the swamp that had been controlled completely by the Democrats for 8 years, in just 4 years? It's a miracle he did half of what he did with almost all of Washington and the media hounding him.

That's what infuriates me too. You have some guys who love to groan about these issues, but from just this election alone we see how deep it runs; how many of those guys Trump had to fire; how many RINOs who have accepted Joe as their lord and savior (on a list, of course; TDS-ridden local officials like Ned. It's fucking impossible without Trump going full Caesar. And if he went after Hillary, Obama would be in jail, and Joe will be prisoner-elect, along with any governor who went for draconian measure fior COVID.
