I actually got 2 bets going with a friend.
The first bet is about who is going to graduate first, my money being on Ina, her priestess' duties will probably become too hard to balance with her Vtuber life.
The second bet is about who's gonna do an oopsie, with my money being on Kiara. The woman is a time bomb and it's only a matter of time before keeki temper tantrums bleed into Kiara.

Starting to notice a small influx of people who just seem to have a hateboner for specific Vtubers. Suppose that was bound to happen since we’re basically talking about virtual idols.

Anyway, the Hololive Sports Festival should make for some good entertainment.

Those are fair bets, but I'd say it's still Calli first even for non-drama reasons. I think she might just one day be like, fuck it I just want to rap, that's it. The real outside bet on this one is her then joining INNK.

I'm with you more on Kiara, but don't count Ame out. She feels like she's a losing streak topped of with some trash talk away from calling someone a faggot.

Yeah I don't think anyone will get canned, unless Kiara goes 4th reich or something. I would imagine they'd get their asses torn apart by managers that actually know English though.

I fucking hate the insane cope of Calli fans regarding TT/Cr1tikal/Artemis.
First it was weeks of convincing themselves that the podcast didn't happen, or that it was going to be virtual only (it was in-person), then after people saw the autograph, claimed it was only going to be a small section, and then when it finally did happen, they started claiming it was a good thing because market expansion.
Then it was proved to not be a good thing, as evidenced by idiots immediately shitting up the next Amelia stream. Because one of the TTs decided to leech and the chat immediately jumps to suck his dick, terms related to that shitty podcast and its hosts are now filtered from Holo streams.
After this, the new cope is that this wasn't a problem because the ironic weebs were already there, which completely contradicts the earlier cope that this was good for market expansion.
Either by accident or out of apathy it's as if Mori is trying to gather all the different types of western bugman.
Really wish she would go back to making content, instead of whatever this insane dance of collabing with clout chasers, tranny rat kings, and being an unironic Cr1tikal simp and giving him 300 Twitch dollars or whatever.

Ina’s been doing priestess reps for about ten years now, don’t think Vtubing as a hobby is going to ruin her grind. Kiara’s doing her thing full-time, same with Ame.

How big of an oopsie are we talking? Like an on-stream thing or a major yab? Cuz I’m pretty sure that already happened, with the month-old podcast and all. For minor things, Calli keeps confirming she lurks 4chan for whatever goddamn reason. And namedropping herself.

I mean Amelia and Gura already have the twitch kiddie market covered, you actually can’t read anything from their chats at normal speed because of the spam. Coco’s chat spams to drown out the bugs, Ame and Gura’s chat spam as a side effect of their sheer size and audience. The podcast to EN is what EN was to General regulars, honestly.

Just from superchat numbers alone it would be crazy to assume EN isn't making money. They've all but confirmed that they were blindsided from expecting Indonesian numbers because nearly everyone was pessimistic.
The loss was absolutely ID and CN. Whether people like it or not, CN was probably relevant in helping land sponsor events. Might not be relevant anymore but it clearly was at some point if Fubuki was earning more from Bilibili than she was from Youtube.

The part that should make your eyes roll however is the claims of the ENs being some kind of infinite wellspring of money. Anyone with a basic understanding of economic demand would know that it's an impossibility for EN numbers to stay high indefinitely because the demand for English-speaking Holos is currently being sated. I wouldn't trust /biz/fags to boil water correctly.

We do know that Cover established a legal entity in the US, so it might stand to reason that they also now have "offices" and legal entities in Canada...and maybe now even Austria? (Maybe Kiara will just continue to be "employed in Japan" from a legal standpoint.)

That's got to cost a good bit too.
