In other news, right now MauLer is gloating over the Chipman/Ellis twitter spat.

I dunno, if that was true he would've gotten rid of Rags by now.
I had this dumb theory in my head due to Jay and part of the fandom turning on Rags, that it's not outside of the realm of possibility for Mauler's core audience to take a sharp turn left. Annoying the channel's more widespread audience and the 'Fandom Menace' creators in the process.

I don't think mauler himself is egregiously offensive. He's just an irritating bit of grit, about which a lolpearl has formed.

But then, I've been considering MovieBob for the last few days so maybe my view is skewed.

Rags is double edge weapon , the fanbase loves it when he is a dick to the right people/things but hates him when he is a dick to the wrong people/things.
That's why i doubt they're going to get rid of him , sure he'll fuck up and be bitchy about avatar but everything will be ok when he does that for TLOU2 or the boys

Redlettermedia made a recent video on The Boys Season 2, and had a positive opinion on it. Considering EFAP's opinion on it, I wonder how they will react to their idols dissappointing them again. However it should be noted that they haven't talked about the Boys in a while or done an actual EFAP on positive review yet. But they just dug up TLOU2 again last EFAP so who knows?

After watching it, it's probably very likely they might cover it on EFAP. Both Rich and Jay like and praise the stuff they don't like, it's a fairly short video, and considering what happened with RobotHead, some EFAP fans are definitely going to think it exposes Jay and Rich as hacks (for real, this time) and that they should "know better." IIRC, didn't Mauler say they're planning on doing an EFAP on Plinkett's prequel videos?

The main aspects that Jay and Rich seem to like about it is the black comedy aspect and Homelander. From what I can remember, MauLer and co. do not seem to regard the comedy aspect of The Boys to be important.

It's only one of the main reasons why this show is popular so of course they don't care about it.
You can't objectively measure humor and the gay furry doesn't find it funny so it's not important.

Also, Rich and Jay are nerds who want to enjoy media.
EFAP are a bunch of autists who feel the constant need to be correct about everything.

True, but that didn't stop Fringy (and I think also Mauler) from trying to argue that Bojack Horseman wasn't funny. I remember them saying the show wasn't funny, then described the types of jokes in the show, but never actually argued *why* it wasn't funny. It's weird 'cause Mauler got pissy at Joseph Anderson for saying Soma wasn't scary, I guess it's okay when it's media you don't like?

If I can remember correctly, MauLer also finds Aqua Teen Hunger Force unfunny. However I could be wrong. It could have been Fringy or Rags that said that.

Forgot to post this, or watch it. New EFAP. Seems they are jumping on the fact that Bob Chipman is relevant again. I'll watch it later.
Edit: They are going on a stupidly long tangent about sexual relationships because of an idiotic joke Chipman made and it just won't end.
