To those of you buying into the Trump team's Dominion fantasies, I'll post here what I've posted elsewhere.

There's nothing to the Dominion theories. If there was, the Georgia recount would have caught them. You can't just switch huge numbers of votes on the machine count because when you do a recount with the paper ballots, the numbers won't match. Rigging the machine counts would only work with electronic only voting.You would have to rig the paper ballot recounts to match the machine counts otherwise, which is a nearly impossible task with poll workers each working their own pile of votes and not knowing how much they have to contribute to get a matching total.

It's time for you guys (and Trump) to get serious and realise that this is going nowhere. Right now this is nothing more than lawyers lawyering and people yelling but it could turn into a real shitshow down the road.

That report had already been signed off by two officials by the time it was caught and required an argument for the Republican observer to exercise his right to object to that number

I'll admit many of us here are hypocrits including myself. In a way, we're much like the Left in that we hate to lose and want to use our power to crush the opposition and build the world in a way that we think is beneficial for us.

Both sides want the same thing. The problem is one side decided to completely demonize one side of the argument. They call us the worst of things, so we retaliate in kind with horribleness. The political schism has gotten so vitriolic by this point that we and the opposition don't see this as politics anymore—it's a battle for survival.

How could you not think it is when their plans would have us destitute and ruined?

You have to realize that a lot of the cost wasn't borne by the Democratic Party proper, but by NGOs. They gain their power by trade deals, by conglomerates, by international initiatives, by "technocratic" (Read: nepotistic) ONGs.

Maybe long ago before the civil war they might've been satiated by merely controlling the USA, but it has since become insufficient. They hunger for power, the presidency for them is simply not enough, much like an addict gets used to his drugs of preference, they've been craving more. They've been thirsting for the kind of power that cannot be obtained through any regular means, the kind of power that cannot be contained within a single nation.

And so, the presidency became nothing but the means to an end, and putting americans frist would go against said end. Besides, depending on the public's whim and fancy to get that power is a recipe for disaster for them. Trump has proven but a few surgical strikes into key points of their web of favors is enough to tear down large portions of it. The TPP was the very cornerstone of the next step in their plan and it was obliterated by a single stroke of the pen. They can't allow that to happen again, they can't let their supremacy be threatened by mere popular will alone. They will not be concerned with those petty games anymore.

And so they turned to other means to ensure they stay in power long enough to rebuild their dark castles in the sky. They won't let the plebeians betray them like this. If they won't submit they will be made to. Because after all thanks to Dominion and a few plants they now have access to the kind of votes that won't let them down. Dead people, algorithms, activist counters, late night ballot boxes. It's all the same thing to them. Ways to ensure their position without having to worry about that pesky democracy people love so much.
