If you mean in terms of population, maybe, but Wyoming is actually fairly sizable at just under 100,000 square miles, tenth largest in the country. It has the second lowest population density, as obviously Alaska is the lowest, with much of its territory essentially uninhabitable.

I will give this troon some credit, I did like the beginning of Endgame where they didn't just ignore the fact that half of the population got Thanos-snapped. Things like the memorial park that Ant-Man stumbles into or the support group for survivors were nice touches. Hell, when Ant-Man finally makes his way home and his daughter is five years older than he remembers, that hit pretty hard to me. The Russos did a pretty good job of showing the impact of the previous movie's finale, not just on the main characters, but on society in general. Yeah, that all got pretty much ignored once the standard capeshit plot kicked in, but it was a decent opening. I dunno if the Spiderman movie touched on it at all (like Peter realizing that half his class is in college now while he's still in high school) because I stopped watching after Endgame.

Besides, did anyone seriously think that Disney wouldn't just undo everything in the end somehow? Like, immediately after Infinity War, my first thought was "okay, how are they gonna retcon this in the next movie?" Only children and the blind would think otherwise. Hell, anyone who knows even a tiny bit about comics knows that they undo and retcon and reboot shit all the time, so it's really no surprise.

Anyway, my positive comments about Endgame aside, it's not artistic. At the end of the day, it's the same MCU team-up movie as the others, just with even more fanservice and bloated over-the-top CGI nightmare battle scenes than the others.

What's the point then, isn't the one of the big atractions of these shared universe movies isn't the forward narrative, as in, the expectation to see what happens next.

If we are going to set a movie behind, but close to the big climax of the story, then it is one of little consequence, because we already saw the big climax and looks like this story didn't have much to add.

Comics can get away with that because they are floppies that used to cost a couple of bucks., Not so much when you are making a blockbuster costing a ludicrous fortune.

Anyway, seems like the new Spiderman stuff will also be a multi-verse movie with the other spidermans and I never liked multiverse stuff... and after Endgame I haven't watched a single capeshit and I don't think I ever will. i had my fill for good.
