Looking back at it I do think it was a longshot for Bernie to outrigh beat Hillary but I certainly believe had the potiential to win enough primaries to attempt to deadlock the DNC convention. I do think that Bernie was screwed over to ensure that situtation would not happen, heck even Barnes thinks that Henry Reid screwed Bernie out of winning the Nevada Primary.

So looking back at 2016 while it is shocking for Powell to say what she said, i think there is a chance there maybe some truth to what she said. Maybe she's being hyperbolic, but I do think there's a good chance of there being at least something there.

So let's wait this one out.

I did a statistics table on Bernie's performance in the 2016 and 2020 primaries. A couple of things going by face value is that Bernie was a Caucus baby and he lost support at a significant rate. He won Vermont in a landslide in 2016 and 4 years later, he struggled to get over half of the votes. Bernie basically dominated the Caucuses in 2016 and he could never win the primary equivalents in 2020.

The DNC probably saw the same shit that I did and switched almost everything to the primaries which Bernie struggled in.

However Obama nuked Sanders by telling all other challengers except Biden and Warren to back out combined with James Clyburn giving the Nigger's Seal of Approval to Jim Crow Biden.

However for 2016, there was some fuckery about how those primaries and caucuses were done that lead to shouting and screaming by Bernie Bros at the DNC convention that year.

Basically, Obama lifted a restriction that prevented some materials being made for overseas programs like Voice of America or Radio Free Europe from being used on US domestic broadcast. Some people have said that it permits Deep State organizations to produce propaganda for dissemination in the US. Now all the people at Wikipedia and media outlets are saying otherwise...but the question is how far can you trust those people given recent history?

Pretty much everyone who hitched a ride on the Trump Train is going to be dead in terms of political influence and career if the current rate of attrition continues, especially if they backed him legally. Powell's career as anything but a talking head on OAN or Newsmax is pretty much done for. Rudy is... Rudy. And Trump is potentially going to be assraped by the state of NY if they can make the tax evasion charges stick.

She believes that somehow several foreign countries, several international foundations, and thousands of bipartisan officials committed coordinated the fraud. Not a stand alone complex, a cabal that somehow not a single leak has sprung from before or since the election. The woman is going to be laughed out of court.

Preference doesn't win elections. If it did, we would had 40 years straight of Democratic presidents due to the amount of Democrats registered in swing states far exceed the number of Republicans.

A terrible candidate does not generate a determined voting base and ergo depresses turnout and loses.

I believe that could be changing since all the frat boys these days are democrats and majority of the elite are democrats these days.

Which kind of makes sense as the shitlibs idolize Ronnie Raygun these days whereas Trump in the early months of his presidency shit on Reagan's economic policies at one point and is the opposite of Reagan in many ways. Trump is also less of a cuckold compared to Reagan and probably would have told Tip O'Neil to go get fucked.

the boundaries for both have been moved. just like the right wing here didn´t want nazis and the like, the left used to think that a record of violent crime was disqualifying

they don´t think that anymore, and besides every centre leaning opinion is now "far right". it´s insane and it won´t end well
