In fairness it is the sort of thing some dictators do to get their start. Get elected on charisma, and when they can no longer win the elections fairly, they start doing shady shit that may or may not be technically legal to stay in office rather than accept the result. Then once they've done that they do increasingly shady shit to ensure they can win the next election, including changing laws and so forth to eliminate term limits. Finally if reducing the elections to a farce isn't enough, they'll declare themselves president for life or have their loyal legislature doing so. Going straight to no elections and president for life is more of a revolutionary/coup thing.

Thankfully for the US, after FDR and WWII people were nervous enough about the prospect of presidents remaining in power indefinitely that they passed the 22nd amendment. Getting it repealed would be next to impossible and set off all kinds of alarm bells with people if you even tried it. So it's either settle for two terms or pulling off a military coup which is probably even more difficult to do.

Still kind of dumb to start screaming "dictator" the moment Trump tries such a long shot. Trying everything technically legal doesn't automatically make Trump a wanna dictator or someone with a realistic chance of becoming one.

What I'm saying is, the infrastructure to make a shady election happen has been in place for a long time. All it needs is a motivating political shitstorm.

Yes he said all the right things about BLM, but that was a campaign specifically designed to create division and chaos so allowing voices on the right in opposition served a purpose.

The least we can say about Cucker is that he's one of those conservatives who demand standards from his own side that he'd never apply to the left. His shtick when it comes to Trump and Russiagate for example was 'there have been serious allegations made so now it's up to the President to disprove them'.

What Trumpers don't get is the GOP is bigger than Trump. It's not the GOP, or Fox's or Tucker Carlson's job to save him. If he lost, he lost, and who wants to go down with the ship? The fact they are not coming unblindingly to his defense is more evidence that Trump has no leg to stand on and lost fair and square. They've got to move on and make sure they can shore up their side for 2022.

Appears to be corroborated by Ali.

I´m almost agreeing with the hysterical left about Trump being a monster: he´s clearly exploiting the desperation of a bunch of mostly well meaning disaffected people (mostly moronic as well) for personal gains.
