Oh...so that's why Matsuri has less count of recent clips compared to say, Miko or even Subaru or Luna. Now that makes sense

Hololive Moment portrayed themselves as officials by being verified and throwing lots of content at fast pace. Also, their SEO play is good. People who are not that deep into the rabbit hole will most likely thought they ate legit official
But in the end, they deserve to be forgotten

Speaking of Chinese Vtubers, I realized I hadn’t seen anything about Ai-Ge recently, and apparently she is still going, averaging about 50k views on Bilibili, slightly better than the original Kizuna Ai does. Almost no interest on YT though. her most recent vid is under 1000.

(why on earth do Chinese and Japanese count by 10 Thousands?)

Just show Tianiman square photo's on stream for a few hours and watch as her anti's get sent to death camps.

Because it hits her revenue but im thinking that this is not going to have the effect the bugmen believe, instead the simps are going to double their efforts in fucking with them, they will get bored eventually or someone is going to find a way to stop their script

See this Twitter thread for an egregious example of said sperging. It's impressive how he was able to take such a tiny issue (newbie translator makes mistakes and asks for help on YouTube waow) and blow it way out of proportion (doomposting because people might not realize the translations are mistaken). Also, the way he puts the poor guy down just screams "egomaniac" (or at the very least, extremely condescending) to me, but maybe it's simply because he's ESL.

More lore:
  • Created a Matsuri Monitor to keep track of his prey in other YouTube chats.
  • Used to interact with Matsuri's VA on Twitter on his main account. When she asked her followers not to be so obvious about her other identity (many of them had Matsuri avatars, nicknames, etc.), he created an alt named "lyger_sub" with the same profile picture, only partially darkened. When he was called out on this, he changed it to "lyger_alt" IIRC and he might've darkened the picture some more but let's be real even if he changed his avatar entirely the lack of awareness is still astounding.
  • His currently Twitter handle is just gibberish but he isn't hard to spot because:
    1. He replies to all of her posts within minutes.​
    2. His name is just "lyger" but katakanized.​
    3. His avatar is a yet darker version of his original profile picture.​
One has to wonder why he can't just make an anonymous account but the logical answer seems to be because he doesn't want to lose the GBPs he's accumulated.

Edit: Just to be clear on where I stand, I do think his work as a translator has been a net positive for the chuuba community as a whole. I also believe it wouldn't be the worst idea for him to tone down the autism just a smidge, or at least keep it off the internet. However, as a Farmer I recognize that sperging can make for some good content, so consider me conflicted...

She also knows when to put her foot down when her chat get a bit spergy. Her latest Bully stream shows that she's more than willing to tell you straight if something offend her. I like that.

Didn't want to go through his spergouts on detail because this is a chuuba thread, but yeah, hes disturbing.
Also, not sure how true this is, but there was a rumour in the boards that hes also stalked Matsuri and even knows her address, wouldnt surprise me, the guy is a fucking creep.

For sure. I just wanted to paint a more complete picture given how much people seem to idolize/defend him on social media and the way he tends to deny any wrongdoing.

On a chuuba note: Kanagori's current stream thumbnail is funny and all, but damn, girl's got some actual pipes!
