Now that we're all doomer posting I've this to say.

Well that's it, stagnant Chinese hegemony for the rest of human history is ours, for that nation is the most stable empire of its size in human history, and thanks to modern technology and shortsighted politicians it has been handed near-uncontested global reach. Maybe we'll be able to worm our way out from under the boot during a period of infighting like the Vietnamese did in the Middle Ages. Those gooks were still revolting centuries after the Chinks took them over (this happened 4 times), so at least that shows people don't simply get used to arrangements like this after 2 generations.

Maybe the American right get so disaffected that they'll play the part of the Injuns and go full Ghost Dance .

They declined to hear it today. They did not fully dismiss it, it just wasn’t going to be heard, probably because Thanksgiving is coming up, and this one is gonna require no interruptions. Remember that almost everything shuts down during Thanksgiving.

Trump probably allowed Biden to get the funds so the liberals can jerk off to a Trump loss while he is hard at work with the legal team, the state legislatures and the people loyal to him behind the shadows on how to transition to his 2nd administration. Maybe he already has planned the counter fix or counter coup and is waiting for the right moment. He hasn't posted anything on twitter today other than the GSA shit and he has been sending surveys through email to gauge how enthusiastic his supporters are. Trump is also playing the silent game rather than give all his shit away to the media as we see with Mike Pence and Trump Barbie. Trump is a proven stone cold vindictive as fuck motherfucker who has a soft spot for loyalists and did it as a favor to that GSA official probably otherwise he has no issues firing people and shitting on them with Twitter posts after they get fired or annoy him.

Agreed, although I'm pretty sure the SCOTUS will begin the proceedings on November 30.

IIRC, they declined to hear it this week because of the Thanksgiving holiday. I could be wrong but if the goal is to get it before the SCOTUS, we all knew it'd begin right at the start of December once Thanksgiving is over and done with

Thanksgiving is only cancelled for the plebs and even then, it's only for those living in the blue states with all the increased lockdowns.

It's still a federal holiday being observed by the SCOTUS and other federal offices.

Trump's only hope is if the SCOTUS picks up these cases right out the gate on the morning of November 30 and he can score a favorable ruling in Pennsylvania that can give the GOP legislatures the greenlight to reverse course for the big day on the 14th.

He's basically got a week to get all this done, assuming it begins on November 30 at all.

If he really does bring his A-Game for the SCOTUS cases next week and can score a win in at least one state by December 4, then that can maybe inspire enough confidence in the National GOP to lean on the state-level ones to get Trump the win. Either way, I'm not optimistic.

McConnell's still got his majority to worry about, so I don't see him cucking out fully unless the SCOTUS options completely fail.

Emily Murphy's letter sat a little funny with me, and not just because it was unusual to make a reference to all of the threats that she received, but because the GSA and the Transition Act have no reporting requirements, so the very ass-end of her letter threw me off. I went and double-checked, and sure enough, there was an amendment added to the Presidential Transition Enhancement Act in March of this year, and now there's an entire sub-section related to foreign nationals, lobbyists, and FARA registrants, which would... Honestly be most of Biden's proposed cabinet at this point.

I'm not even sure what point I'm trying to make, honestly. It was just such an odd thing to point out.
