CNN seems to think the plebs are not being properly fearful. Here, be scared motherfuckers.

China lied and way exaggerrated all of this, because they knew other countries would shut down, decimating their economies. While rest of the world is sitting at home ordering stuff off Amazon (and there's a lot of companies selling a lot of stuff through Chinese based sellers in the UK at any rate) China was waiting to "declare victory" and open back up, seeing a resurgence in their economy.

This is my theory as well. I would stake my fkn life (as pathetic as it is right now) on this.

In other news, the Toronto restaurant that defied the nazi orders today has been officially shut down by the Queen Cunt of the Universe Cruella Devilla. Of course all the bed wetters and jizzing all over themselves for their moral victory. Makes me sick.

Remember that cases do not equal deaths, and a lot of cases never even get counted because some people (like me) had it and never went to the hospital or even got tested. The ones that recover aren't talked about in the media unless they had some weird thing happen to them, like permanent heart and lung damage. Catching it isn't a guaranteed death sentence, nor is it a good time. Kind like... the flu? Hmm.
How massively under-tested it is is never really talked about even though the CDC has basically admitted that actual cases are likely 3-10 times as much.

That stomach thing you had back in August you thought was a bad burrito? There is a good chance that was it.

A brave restaurant owner in rural Minnesota is defying Tyrant Walz’s order and is being threatened by the attorney general’s office. The attorney who won the Court of Appeals case on absentee ballots in Minnesota is representing her.

Cannot wait to see the left ignore and/or berate this woman who looks like...

Has there been an actual Covid 'surge" with actual hospitalizations anywhere in the country? I'm in an alleged Covid hotspot and my nurse friends tell me hospitals are ghost towns and inpatient levels are the lowest they've ever seen them.
COVIDView shows a significant increase in hospital visits and hospitalization. Excess deaths is a trailing indicator because it takes time to die, and then it takes time to get those numbers, but we haven't seen an increase there yet. On the one hand, I expect some COVID deaths from the current uptick in hospital visits. On the other hand, if we effectively suppress the flu, maybe COVID will just take its place and the net change in deaths will approach 0.

Wow. That's appalling. Here, most of stores have recognised this: some people who can't wear masks live on their own and can't do online shopping for lack of funds to meet the minimum spend or lack of space. A few of the big supermarkets have policies of " not our business, we dont care and we're not gonna ask".

Pretty sure that policy ON has is fucked and goes against rights of citizens but I guess it depends on what type of law takes precedent and how Canadian law "works" ( I'd argue a country that allows yaniv to do what he does has a fucked legal system, tbh).
I think it's most of Canada. Technically, you should be able to claim medical exemption in some public areas but people will demand to see your medical records to determine if your exemption is legitimate, and there's decent public support for that system.

I can live a decent amount of my life around people who won't enforce the mask mandate, so it's similar to places like California in that way.

I'm sure parents and children will admit to doing this so that they may be punished accordingly.

Fuck that, DeSantis owns and Florida owns. Even though we’re about to be utterly shit on because cases will increase due to season starting, we have said fuck lock downs and that is great. I’ll be at the beach without a mask on thanksgiving day.
