Special Prosecutors are like mad dogs. Mueller was one and you saw that, when he couldn't actually produce evidence of Russian collusion, he just resorted to witch hunting members of the Trump team, getting them on whatever bullshit (usually lying to Feds) he could find.

Ken Starr was another one. Liberals hated him
The question is more "will they get a special prosecutor"?

Kenn Starr wasn't special counsel, he was Indepedent Counsel, which was a position that basically served as an independent member of the Executive Branch without any Presidential supervision. That post was created by the Democrat Congress in the wake of Watergate, vigorously defended by them when they used it against the Reagan Administration (litigated in the seminal case of Morrison v. Olsen), and conveniently allowed to lapse in 2001 after the Democrats realized that it could be used against them too.

Or that Powell has more time to focus on the election fraud now.
i don't think she has the authority to investigate or sue for things she's alleging. when it comes to the german server, she isn't apart of the DOJ or some other branch that has the authority to subpeona for it.

i don't see how she can be on a criminal investigation without being in government.

Everything was fine until the progressives came and ruined it all. Instead of learning how to play, in other words being an individual and figuring out what you could do, they instead tried to drag everyone down to being as incompetent as they are. Things went from a bunch of hobbyists with a little crazy (some people could exercise self-control and hide their power levels), to a Tumblr storm. Vidya and D&D didn’t cause crazy, they are magnets for it though.

Doing things such as making games more ”accessible”, removing “save or die” spells from D&D (unless they walked that back last I checked) and the like remove the chance to sit down and learn how to use mechanics. Mechanics are why these activities are fun. People were included so long as they merely put in some minor effort to keep up. Progressives want to just win at the press of a button or declaration of an action.

Harry Potter I won’t defend. I have no idea why different books weren’t read, the fact that it is always Harry Potter when sometimes a Louis L’amour or Jim Butcher (or literally any other author) reference would fit better irritates me.

No, once you are in the trap it's too late.

They pushed inflammatory media with specific esoteric shit in it to rile up the fundies, that way they can pit you against Christians first. Once people are now at odds with the Christian right and establishing themselves as a faux-moral authority, they then move in with the second punch, unmasking themselves as commies, feminists etc.

I have to keep harping on about this until you all get it.

Narrative, protagonist, antagonist, virtue, struggle, they are gaming you, yes you who are reading this. The need you fighting, they need other people fighting, and they need to have you fighting anyone but them.

Weird how you heard about all of these attacks against your group through the media; isn't it.

The talking point immediately was sent out.

"He pardoned Flynn so now Judge Sullivan (the judge that's trying to force the case to remain in the system forever) can go after TRUMP instead!"

The argument, of course, is ultimately that he's #NOTMYPRESIDENT and thus anything he does is by definition invalid.
So Trump pardoned him knowing he can testify against him...for what, exactly, no one is clarifying. Sounds logical to the TDS folks I guess.

If you want to get really nasty, bring back the Blood Eagle. Seems a fitting punishment for treason given the USA's symbolism.
Does the USA have any bogs? There's nothing that instills the fear of god in someone than watching a criminal slowly sink into a muddy hole with no chance of coming back up again.

You know, it would be a hell of a season ending if American Hispanics wind up being majority driven to the GOP due to the Democrats' inability to not say stupid shit like this.
It was always going to be an uphill battle for the GOP because Mexico is a very left leaning country and most of them are from there (look at Lopez Obrador and the people who voted him into office), but it's possible if the Democrats make enough mistakes. This entire era of politics is all about who makes fewer mistakes, and both sides have made plenty.

Proposition 16 wasn't remotely close and failed 43-57, a bigger margin than the original referendum that banned affirmative action to start with (and given how PC culture has evolved since 1996 that's really saying something). I'm not sure what the racial breakdown of the electorate was on that so I can't comment.

Ever heard of Louisiana?

I wonder if the Insurrection Act forces will need some sort of commander? Can Trump put General Flynn in charge?

Tacitus wrote that the ancient Germans, probably ancestors of Trump's, used to drown people convicted of moral infamy in bogs.

In their councils an accusation may be preferred or a capital crime prosecuted. Penalties are distinguished according to the offence. Traitors and deserters are hanged on trees; the coward, the unwarlike, the man stained with abominable vices, is plunged into the mire of the morass with a hurdle put over him. This distinction in punishment means that crime, they think, ought, in being punished, to be exposed, while infamy ought to be buried out of sight.

Good shout. Give the cajuns the right to chuck degenerates into the swamp and have the gators eat them.

She's not bringing a criminal case, she's alleging criminal conduct.

Basically, Rudy and gang with their case are not necessarily alleging that criminal conduct occurred (even though it fucking did) they're arguing that the election in the contested states was grossly mishandled, which is broader, doesn't require them to actually prove fraud and doesn't require them to prove intent

What Powell is doing is alleging that fraud actually did occur, and that she can prove intent, etc.
