I've liked some other stuff he's done but that thing has gotten the most traction out of anything else he has made. Still, the fact that his mv parodies are the only things people know him for and not anything else he credited himself for is kind of notable. It doesn't exactly bode well for the group he is partly in charge of. At least gunrun seems to have more experience.

I'm biased in my preference of Gura's version because I can actually sing along in English, but what is it with vtubers singing Country Roads? Is it just a matter of being one of the songs that's easier to get permission to sing on stream without getting DMCA'd? Or is there some inner fascination overseas with John Denver?

Either way I'm here for it. Take me home mountain mama.

There was an early 2010s anime that used a Japanese cover of it as the ending credits, I think. This was before Bethesda did the 76 cover,

It’s basically the same as JOPs being surprised we love Plastic Love, old-ass songs that foreigners like.

Also, Amelia played CS:GO as one of her first games. I don't think she's ever streamed it again since then, though. The shitters and stream snipers made her go full "toxic gamer".
