Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

The "silent majority" has always made me laugh. Trump voters have never been in the majority and the only thing they can't do is shut the fuck up.

Trump has never gotten a majority of the vote -- he got 46% of the vote in 2016, and is sitting at 47% now. Ironically, Biden is at 51% of the vote so far.
I always heard the "Silent Majority" liked Trump because they hated political correctness or some such.

TBH I really don't get how Donald Trump got turned into the West's last stand against SJWism/political correctness.

I don't think anyone's done more to contribute to SJWism and political correctness than Donald Trump.

Bearing in mind "political correctness" was originally a communist party term, I think Karl Marx might bear a bit more of that burden.

I agree Trump did little to stop it though. Chapo Trap House and Breadtube peaked during his term.

This verdict is written on a cocktail napkin...and it still says guilty! AND guilty is spelled wrong!

On the one hand, this could just be an error with MS Word or something, but given just how fucking incompetent the Trump teams seems, I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt.

It would be interesting to compare the various lolsuits filed by lolcows over the years with the Trump Kraken filings, and see which are more retarded than the others.

It's a quote from Nixon, who did actually get a majority in 1972 when he destroyed Mondale. Trump never really had one, though he did always over-perform relative to polls (they were putting Biden at about +8 nationally when he was closer to +4).
You mean McGovern. Reagan was the one who steamrolled Mondale in 1984.

THIS LAWSUIT WILL BE A SLAM DUNK, THE DISTRCOICT COURT WON'T KNOW WHAT HIT 'EM

We're approaching the point where the moon falling out of orbit has a higher chance of happening than any of the scenarios their collective cope can try to will into existence.

If I had to guess what reading after surviving a light stroke was like, this would probably be it.

I'm saying that the potential that there can be damaging elements included, be it purposefully or through negligence via rushed vaccination development, is not only possible but already a subject of major expose/investigation elsewhere (that there's precedent). It's not just conjured by a mind crowned in a tinfoil hat.

That China has rushed its vaccines the hardest and is now in the process of helping distribute them internationally is another point (Russia was mentioned too), and then there's videos like this where even Dr. Fauci, who just back in September warned against China-style rush to vaccines, now speaks about being "encouraged" by the fact that no one's reported adverse effects in the few months it's been available:
As if this span of time is all it takes to truly discern anything.

Also, this is from September
This is from this month.

Understand that there's more going on here than just people pooling together to try and save lives. Major corporations want fat money and vaccines seems to make bank, especially when you're the top dog at the finish line, but there's also geopolitical waves going on as a result as well.
I mention this not because I worry that companies racing for a vaccine on the USA's behalf will take notes from China's companies (Chinese companies are owned by and/or beholden to the CCP btw it's their economic and political system) but because of the precedent it all sets and, again, because of the blind trust people have over all of this.

And it would certainly be mandatory. NYC Cuomo already publicly addressed how appalled he was that police officers aren't willing to check if people have more than 10 people over for Thanksgiving. Politicians are exercising authoritarian overreach, as I said, with little to no real scientific universal standards in their mandates (hence the "six people or ten" remark and what I mentioned later).

It would be mandatory. How would such a mandate be implemented? As I said, probably not by police jamming needles into people like Alan Dershowitz literally said they could (look it up, it was a live interview).
Rather it'd likely by vaccination IDs or, as mentioned regarding the Israel articles, making it mandatory during transit or travel.

Ultimately there is too much going on and too much floundering on key issues--especially vaccination development and safety data--from all sides to simply be copacetic with the idea of potentially being forced to get a Covid vaccine. That potential has been aired openly, discussed, considered in a number of ways and the danger is apparent. I brought up the case of Ethiopians in Israel to show it's not just a fantasy that it'd be a bad idea.

As for what it had to do with Biden, as I say, it's a potentiality for Trump but a foregone conclusion for Biden, as seen by how he wants to continue the lock-downs. It's also largely Dem politicians (those who aided and encouraged the mass riots I keep having to recall to everyone's seeming forgetfulness) exercising this authoritarian overreach. etc

I have very little trust like anyone should, especially under Trump, and have even less under Biden--and only that because Trump doesn't want to continue the lock-downs and all that entails. Plus what else I said above.

I fully expect that if he were to win his second term through all this legal battle he'd still be a problem and would flounder, potentially even pushing the idea for mandatory vaccination/vaccination IDs as an alternative to further lock-downs. Like I said, he's not a 4D Chess saint.
However, that is a possibility for Trump whereas it's a foregone conclusion for Biden (continued lock-downs and inconsistent authoritarianism about Covid I mean).

I keep saying this isn't about being pro-Trump but people keep insisting it is. I know why, though, but I'll save that for the end.
I don't, especially not when Bill Gates himself said during an interview that Trump, when he was advised to look into the potential adverse effects of vaccinations, asked him if he should, and Gates said "No, that's a bad thing. Don't do that."
To which Trump just...didn't.

Vaccines don't cure viruses. They prevent them. Inoculation is only one of many preventative measures and other measures are already being implemented successfully. Where these measures are actually in accord to scientific universal standards (not arbitrary "six feet", "ten people" political mandates but "don't be around the immuno-compromised" and "if you're sick, stay home" etc,), they work.
The USA is not in the danger it once was and we know enough about the virus to not only identify the those most vulnerable but take measures to protect them.

There is no need for a rush to vaccinate, let alone to potentially mandate it once completed, especially since we had literally hundreds of rioters and politicians breath-to-breath in public for months and we still don't have anywhere near the catastrophic surge in cases we did when it first arrived.

Maybe if after all those months NYC, Seattle, Chicago etc. was flooded with bodies I'd be whistling a different tune, but I guess protests also act as inoculation against Covid. The eldest politicians among the DNC were out there with them and none of them turned up dead yet, long after the time when they'd become symptomatic.

I never said that. I thought you weren't trying to fight here. Why imply a totally different context to what I said?

According to the CDC last I checked it is.

Might as well keep everyone in bubbles and walk around in hazmat suits.
The lock-down was necessary until we could discern what this virus was, how it functioned and who would be most endangered by it. We know all that now.

Asymptomatic spread means there's no sign of infection. You literally have to keep everyone separated at all times until a test proves positive and/or they show symptoms (and then get tested also because it shares symptoms with other coronavius and you might not be infectious with Covid-19).

What you're suggesting isn't plausible, but it's what Biden's team seems to want. This kind of thing is why I brought up Covid and vaccines in my initial post that was quoted here. There's potential for it to get worse under Trump but it's certain to get worse under Biden if he gets his way regarding lock-downs. The idea some other people think they can snicker at this and move on is ridiculous.

TL;DR
I said I'd get to it later and now I am.
People aren't smarter because they scoff at things, let alone what's immediately observable, and it's frustrating that people seem to be so asspained about Trump--or rather, at the last four years of memes mocking them/their political side--that they will swallow anything and everything just to get the chance at gloating at his absence.

Make no mistake, that's what this is all about. People are retarding their own intellect because they are desperate for a reflection of 2016 but where they "win" instead and the agents of their worldview get to impose what they are trained to think believe to be "good", like the Equality Act or Green New Deal.

That was the claim made in the other thread against a post of mine, that I'm just upset "my faggot didn't win", despite me never once posting that way. That claim I replied to when mentioning the vaccination, Equality Act (think the Desmond thread but established as civil rights law) etc. That reply was then posted in this thread for giggles as if I'm a Trumpite "kek god emperor", and no matter how much I explain otherwise it won't be heard because people desperately want that 2016 salt mine from anyone who isn't one of them.

That's how we got here. I mean just look at the point of this thread to begin with. People really want a 2016 do-over and they want it so bad that they will overlook absolutely everything just to experience it.

I get it, and mocking Trumpites can be funny, but 2020 is an entirely different world from 2016. You can't go back.
Digging your head in the sand and ignoring everything wrong going on, the dangers therein, what's being proposed--it won't turn back the clock. Doesn't stop people, of course.

After all, they're just happy "their faggot won".
Dude, you literally mentioned that you think you will not get a ID if you don't get the vaccine, and linked no ID with no normal rights. What's the difference between that and "no vaccine, no human"?

It would never happen, but it'd be funny to watch the Trumptards argue for a no-ID voting law

Right, well, I doubt our relationship with the UK is going to change much either regardless of who is president, though I imagine many Northern Irish aren't thrilled that Biden is Catholic
It is fairly significant because of the nature of the post-Brexit trade deal. That might vary between candidates, but we'll see what Biden wants from that.

Probably because he would actually pound heavily on anti-political correctness to the point of deliberate offensiveness, while the "cuckservatives" seemed to be entirely terrified of actually taking it to the enemy. Even if much of what he said was actually stupid or wrong, the mere fact that he was saying it was appealing to enough people that his base, while not a "majority," was much more energized than the Democrats, especially with a deeply unpopular and unlikeable candidate like Hillary. Trump is polarizing and hatable, but the kind of deranged opposition he attracted actually made his supporters even more enthusiastic. Hillary also caused derangement level loathing on the other side, but without this translating into enthusiastic support from her side. The utterly vile way she slandered her internal opponents, whether it was the openly racist attacks on Obama, or the vicious attacks on "Bernie Bros," guaranteed she could never unite the party. It's fairly traditional to pull your punches in the primary because you're going to need those people who supported the other guy later. If they now hate your guts, good luck with that.
