Not that i doubt you or anything, but im not very familiar with Twitch streamers. For what reason do they usually lie? Sympathy of some sort? What makes twitch lolcows come off as less genuine? Wonder if some Twitch Vtubers are the same way...That said, whenever one of the girls drops some stuff about their personal life, it comes off as extremely easy to believe because they don't have any reason to lie. With independent Twitch streamers, they actually have a few reasons for lying and the more lies you tell, the more difficult it is to keep your story straight; what brought me to the farms in the first place was trying to keep track of every single thing the PigRoach would say since it's honestly a daunting task. No, the hololive girls feel incredibly genuine about their hardships and people have confirmed some stuff. Calli definitely seems like the tomboyish type who would have trouble with romance and Amelia actually did lose someone close to her, which correct me if I'm wrong, were her parents. It makes sense as to why she has more stories that have her aunt in the picture than her parents. People have said stuff about Keekihime's past, which I'm inclined to believe is true since even as Kiara, she can say and act pretty fucking dumb at times and definitely has some attachment issues. Now, if someone were to be found out lying about their past, it would be a shitshow; in the case of Watame, for example, you'd have to be a special kind of cruel to lie about your dad abandoning you and your brother.
Sometimes garnering sympathy is a part of it, but, for the most part, it's all a part of building an image and creating a narrative for yourself to appeal to the lowest common denominator. If it's easy to win people over by some obvious method, then you should go for it as more and more people will usually take the bait than the ones who will be skeptical of your claims. It's an easy road to "success", if it can be measured as such, as well as renown, clout, and to some extent, financial stability, but, in the end, it's all an act. It's not sustainable for the long term, and it usually boils down to a question of when the people who chase after this sort of thing will break, and what lengths they'll continue to go to in order to keep themselves relevant and appealing to an audience whose interests and values are constantly changing. Not that i doubt you or anything, but im not very familiar with Twitch streamers. Ah, so everything is correctAll I know is that she used to go by @Nachikoyuuki on twitter and soundcloud, she nuked everything a while ago tho.
Wait, let me ask my friends about this. This guy could be a lolcowEdit: Hold on, wasn't Fox Cho fired from his own Vtuber company or something? Why is he managing a Vtuber?
Your choice, man. I’ve never really been in support of the whole “post the vtubers real identity” stuff since I’ve seen how bad it can get, but I’m also not one to preach morals given how long I’ve been on this site. In the end, it’s your decision to share it or not.Ah, so everything is correct
A cover
A live performance
Soundcloud cover
The rest on the list are nuked. There's also her stage and real name, should I posted there here?
Also, my friends made an observation that HoloID and NijiID members are or close to local Indonesian Utaite circle. It might be interesting as a note

I mean besides the overworking (which is partly Coco's fault), Cover has been pretty bad about protecting her. For someone who has brought in millions of dollars in superchats on her own and god knows how much more indirectly by signal-boosting the other girls, Cover has been surprisingly lax about moderating her chat or supporting her. I understand that it's not possible to 100% remove the spam, but it almost feels like there are no moderators in her chat. And that sucks, because Coco's whole schtick is playing to the crowd which she can't do when her chat is basically nonfunctional.
Coco's recent break made the japanese news. The article is basically rehashed what we know so far basically, with the note that the break this time was her personal decision and not cover's. Anti bugmen sentiment is brewing in the comment, with some disappointment in how cover handled the situation sprinkled in.
Yeah, I'm conflicted as well since it's not just her stage name like Holo girls roommate identity, but her actual real name as wellYour choice, man. To add, Kanata also weighed in on Coco's self-inflicted 'break' yesterday. She said it's not because of anything bad or threatening. She knows everyone is very concerned and she reiterated that everything is fine.

Haven't looked through this stuff but i probably will in a bit. But to give her the benefit of the doubt, we don't know the identity of her parents. Her claim was that she was half Indonesian right? In my opinion, it's completely possible that her non Indonesian side (physical attributes?) does not seem obvious at all if you looked at her. For one thing, i have a friend who's half Indonesian, half Australian, but you probably wouldn't be able to tell she's Indonesian at all unless you heard her speak. Speaking of speaking (heh), whenever i listened to her Indonesian in the beginning, it sounds stiff and formal. So yeah, i don't think she's lying (or at least i hope she isn't)Yeah, I'm conflicted as well since it's not just her stage name like Holo girls roommate identity, but her actual real name as well
It should be noted that this most likely debunked her claim about being an expat, since both her parents live here
Also, this list has been shared to lots of place and groups. And I think she's fucked since she gained a lot of antis because of her antics and some people considering her leeching from Pekora. Even I got the list from someone who seemed to have such hatred wih HoloID
To an extent; I feel like Karen's the type of girl who will go on about why your waifu is shit (even if it's her, she'll say you have shit taste for liking her) while watching wrestling with you. And then she'll call your pet cat over to play with it and switch between talking to the cat and giving you shit for your opinions.
Her name are fully Indonesian and her face doesn't show any hint of overseas heritage at all. But I don't know, maybe she is, maybe she isn't. Her private accounts have all been nuked so there's no way to check it besides secondhand infoHaven't looked through this stuff but i probably will in a bit. like i said, im giving her the benefit of the doubt as it is entirely possible her non Indonesian heritage is not obvious at all. She was born in Singkawang, there is a high probability that she is part chinese. Most Vtubers are in it for the hobby and the fun of it, from what I can tell. Very few of them are actually in it for the money it can bring and some didn't think it would be that successful to begin with. Bear in mind YAGOO didn't even see this kind of success happening. Not that i doubt you or anything, but im not very familiar with Twitch streamers. For what reason do they usually lie? it made it to the news its that big , yakuza wars have started for lessTo add, Kanata also weighed in on Coco's self-inflicted 'break' yesterday. She said it's not because of anything bad or threatening. She knows everyone is very concerned and she reiterated that everything is fine.
also apparently Coco announces her farts, at least that's courteous
Check people that Domo follows 7 out of 10 is going to be in thereCurious how the final member will be.
We're playing this game for 1.5 hours, chatting a bit, and that's it." The earlier comment about it being similar to professional wrestling is very fitting.
It depends. From what I'm able to gather (since Hololive EN is very frank with the realities of their jobs) is that they reserve a slot for something they plan on doing, and usually stick to it. During the first week they stuck to that rigidly to give everyone a chance to stand out and not overstep anyone. These days they're much more fast and loose with it, with an obligatory hour but going over is fine...unless it's a promo deal. Calli somehow gets a lot of those, with the other girls sometimes getting them as well such as Ame with Bookwalker in the strangest fucking brand deal hololive has ever done, and that counts Curry Meshi. If you watch any of Kiara's content, it's all over the damn place. She'll play Fire Emblem Three Houses for one in-game month and then read out Superchats for like 6 hours afterward. No way in hell she actually schedules that big of a chunk. After watching my first few Hololive streams, people are right in saying that the Twitch vtuber offerings aren't anywhere close talent-wise. It's also just a different vibe - the streams feel more orchestrated and focused, like "We're playing this game for 1.5 hours, chatting a bit, and that's it." The earlier comment about it being similar to professional wrestling is very fitting.
That's actually something I plan on doing. I'm a writer by hobby and the idea of creating a character that I can portray any way I want in a live setting is an interesting proposition, and I'm very cagey about showing my face online so I would rather have the avatar to hide behind. But I think there's room for someone to use vtuber tech as a normal-ass streamer, like someone who doesn't want to use a cam but still have an avatar on stream. I've noticed a few already on Twitch. From a pure lulz/cow standpoint this is definitely something I'm keeping my eye on.
