Yeah, I've heard no grounded explanation of those spikes. As you say, the mail ins were supposed to be counted in tandem, not saved for after and all at once, and even if they were it shouldn't result in a spike but rather a steep slope. I've heard nothing except dubious speculation from third parties when it comes to an above board explanation for these spikes, and for some reason it annoys me that I haven't heard a competent excuse for those yet.
The mail in ballots in many states by law couldn't even start to be counted until all the in person ballots were counted.

I can

BALLOT COUNTING MACHINES GO BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

But seriously, there's no adequate explanation. No amount of mail-ins for Biden like that would have been counted at once. Even if there were a lot of mail in votes, some would be for Trump. Its incredibly suspicious and anomalous and in all my years of watching elections, I've never seen something like this.

The trouble is, vague accusations can be countered with vague denials. We really need times and numbers. Someone should do up a basic "cheat sheet" of suspicious facts and counterclaims. Just one side with things like: "Mail in ballots are overwhelmingly Biden" -> "Other counties in PA showed 63% for Biden in mail-ins, is it feasible that a large batch from Philadelphia was 100% Biden?" But to build that, we need a reputable source for numbers.

Anyway, separate to the above I moved onto looking at Exit Poll data and whilst not related to fraud the below results say a lot about Biden's voters. The Democrats might have actual racist policies, be the pro-war party and be the most inept in handling Covid-19 but they say the right things and that's what matters. Looking at the priorities and assuming self-interest as a motivation, the below tells me that Democrat voters lean to being comfortable in their lives as they don't need to worry so much about crime, the economy or being shut in a small apartment or losing an hourly-wage due to Covid-19 policies

What is the rationale for such a law and which party pushed for it?

In Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, the GOP legislatures passed a law that only allow absentee ballots to be counted starting on election day. Some states, like Florida, started counting ballots in like mid-October.

Was the reasoning because they thought it wouldn't be possible to keep the current total secret? Because that's the only rationale for that I can see.

To anyone who somehow thinks there will genuinely be a return to normalcy and you can go back to laughing at stupid people online with a Biden win after 4 years of the contrary or you just don't care about who wins, here's a good quote from someone who thought the same thing.

At first they came for the whites, and I did not speak out - because fuck dem crackas, ya dig?
Then they came for the asians, and I did not speak out - because fuck dem chinamen, ya dig?
Then they came for the Mexicans, and I did not speak out - because fuck dem green-card-having motherfuckers, ya dig?
Then they came for my black ass...

That might have been it.

https://lancasteronline.com/news/po...cle_f36c35be-229c-11eb-9ffe-23e9688220de.html -- Here's a good little write up from a local PA paper.

Here's the important part:

"So why didn’t it take this long to count the votes in previous elections?

There’s never been as many people voting by mail, a process made easier by a 2019 law passed by the Republican General Assembly and signed by Democratic Gov.
Tom Wolf. The law allows voters to cast ballots by mail without providing an excuse such as illness or travel. This was the first general election in which every state voter was entitled to vote by mail.

More than 90 million U.S. citizens, many concerned about falling ill amid the COVID-19 pandemic, requested mailed ballots. Of those, 65 million had returned them by Election Day, according to the U.S. Election Project early-vote tracker. In Pennsylvania alone, more than 3 million voters request mail ballots and 2.5 million returned them.

It takes a long time to open all of those envelopes, unfold the ballots, scan them and report the results to the Department of State beginning on Election Day.

Wait. They only started counting on Election Day? Why didn’t elections officials start counting those mail ballots as soon as they were returned?

While the 2019 law made it easier to vote by mail, it did not provide elections workers any more time to count them. Under state law, elections officials are not allowed to process mail-in ballots until Election Day.

The Republican-led General Assembly failed to pass legislation allowing counties to begin processing mail-in ballots before Election Day like many other states do.

That meant mail-in ballots piled up at election offices without being opened or loaded into counting machines.
Though Lancaster County began counting the mail-in ballots on Election Day, other counties waited until the following day. Counties have eight days after the election to count those ballots.

Meantime, states like Florida – the site of the 2000 election debacle – are done counting already. "

In the interest of not being an intellectually dishonest Trump sycophant, I'm gonna go ahead and call out shit like this because at this point it's getting really annoying.

The first video is a tossup on being a legit brain fart if the interviewer was indeed a man named George. Whatever. Regarding the second video however: Biden clearly was going to say "This is my son Beau's daughter" or something to that effect but then aborted that train of thought to just say "this is my granddaughter Natalie." This is something you see Trump do in just about every damned interview and speech, so there's no way you aren't familiar with this. The camera then zooms in away from Biden as he says "Oh wait, no we got the wrong one here." When the camera refocuses, you can see the girls have switched places and now Natalie is the one he has his arm around. Finnegan approached him from behind so it's reasonable for him to assume he just didn't see which one it actually was.

With the amount of autism dedicated to trying to analyze things like the Biden laptop, you'd think you guys would be able to figure something as simple like this out. It's obvious what he meant to anyone with two brain cells. Just like it's obvious what he meant when he was saying he had "the largest voter fraud organization" for this election. No, the guy wasn't admitting to anything on air, he was clearly saying that he had built a team for countering it. Obviously recent events call the efficacy of that into question. That's not the point. You know what he was saying. Oh, and spare me your "Freudian slip" shit. You just don't want to be honest about it because the dishonest approach supports your narrative and makes the opposition looks bad. Sound familiar?

The left rightfully earned indignation by doing this for years to Trump (e.g. "they're not sending their best"=racist). There are actual gaffes to laugh at and that should cause concern, but this isn't one of them. I know just by saying that some of you will justify it by saying "Well they are getting a taste of their own medicine hur hur hurr." Well if you feel that way then congrats, because in that case you've earned my disdain as much as the left has, and I'm disgusted by the idea of being associated with you. You're just a snake on a different side of the aisle.

Dementia is touchy subject, huh? Calm down. Here's a wholesome photo of Joe, maybe it'll make you feel better.

Virginia should have been the wake up call but fuck. Now its Georgia and Arizona that are the big eye openers. If the fraud was contained to PA, WI and MI then there would be a way harder case for Trump and the right wing would have fell asleep.
They will go back asleep. The right is obsessed with doing as little as possible and then acting surprised when they keep losing ground.

Mass deplatforming campaigns?
“Heh, once people realize they’re not free speech platforms, a new Twitter will emerge. The best thing we can do is nothing :smug:

Numerous instances of electoral fraud in the 2018 midterms?
“Heh, I’m going to protest by going into work tomorrow :smug: That’ll show those libtards”

Cities burning down, corporations donating lots of money to left wing terrorists.
“No need to do anything. Doing nothing means you are in favor of law and order. The best thing we can do is nothing :smug:

Democrats are talking about winning by any means necessary.
“I saw more Trump bumper stickers on my way to the Piggly Wiggly. Trump is gonna win in a landslide. I’m not going to be a poll watcher or go knock on doors. I’m just going to do nothing :smug:

Demographics now call Georgia and Arizona into question.
“Demographics aren’t real; I’m just going to ignore what happened to California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Virginia. Libtard infighting will save the day. I’m just going to do nothing :smug:

Kind of funny how those libtards that actually do something keep winning while the side that resorts to thinking 4D chess, inexplicable deus ex machinas are the way to go along with incessant chatter about ouroboroses keep losing?

Funny how that works: political action used to work for millennia but modern day conservatives have somehow reached the exact opposite conclusion. You have to wonder how they arrived at that conclusion.

Something I wanna reach a bit of conseus on is what you guys think of Rudy and how he's leading things.

I've had times of doubt but I think Rudy's be fine overall. Really good showman and seems to still be decently sharp.

To be honest this might be a lack of education but I don't really know who else could step up to this role. Barnes is the only other person I personally know of who could fit into the role.

What are your guys' thoughts on Rudy so far?

The main issue is right-wingers doing anything would lead to jail time or their lives destroyed. Also the general public only sees the right wing as conspiratards or aspiring Jack Chick/McVeigh clones.

I'm impressed Jack Chick hasn't been pushed further into edgy "Hitler did nothing wrong" type memes. You can kill millions and be an icon of internet shitposting, but be an edgy moralfag who rustled a lotta jimmies back in the "moral majority" era and you only get one piece of his comics edited with varying tiers of quality ranging from genuinely kinda funny like the 'traps are gay' edit to boring regurgitating sneed or some other tired memes.

So less conspiracy and more just ballsed-up archaic laws being left in place despite not suited for what they all knew was coming. Thanks for writing that up.

This sort of thing is why in a conversation before the election I said to a friend that Trump losing wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing because the Right had come to pin all their hopes on him and expect him to save them. That's not a healthy attitude. If Trump doesn't get a second term then maybe the Right will learn to self-organize and stand up for themselves more. I think Trump has done a lot of good - reducing child trafficking, cancelling Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership, refusing to start new wars, appointing a lot of non-Democrat judges and more. But the Right has been lazy and dependent throughout his term. I still hope he gets that second term because the alternative is very dangerous. But the Right need to do something. They need to reach out to each other and organize.

Something I wanna reach a bit of conseus on is what you guys think of Rudy and how he's leading things.

I've been more reading analysis than watching actual footage - don't have time to watch it all. But I will say that when he stopped in the middle of his talk about Hunter Biden's laptop to try and sell me cigars his credibility with me dropped very sharply. I mean, seriously?

The main issue is right-wingers doing anything would lead to jail time or their lives destroyed. Also the general public only sees the right wing as conspiratards or aspiring Jack Chick/McVeigh clones.
There are other means than violence, though it may come to that. They should organize two things - one is a mass refusal to pay tax. It would take organization and solidarity in the face of every tactic imaginable, they would need public support. But no taxation without representation. A lot of means have been put in place to prevent such a movement but it's still possible for a little longer. They should do it.

A second would be mass secession movements. The Democrats are willing to destroy the USA rather than let someone else have control of it. So let 'em.

I dont get why anybody sees an issue with Biden switching up his granddaughters. old people do it all the time. bad eyes, bad hearing, looking to same, etc its nothing they would do with strangers...

Hey the man's gotta eat. And eating exclusively at New York Pizzerias really drives up the bills.

Because any kind of organizing to achieve a goal is socialism, and you don't want to be no libtard commie right Logan? (can't think of another generic white name)

For anyone still somehow believing in the QAnon false religion, interesting there hasn't been a "drop" since Nov 13th just after midnight.
People who basically prayed to that thing must feel like a ship at sea without a compass.

What the poster here who said the right has gotten lazy, that's exactly correct and IMO all along it was Q's goal to suppress conservative anger and productivity to instead believe, "Don't worry, things are happening behind the scenes. Go back to bed."

well Q is for boomer, and boomer are at an age where they dont leave their warm bed all winter long.

Yes but that’s due to generations of right wing inaction: they let the left run buck wild while the right wing sat back and did nothing. The solution now apparently is to continue to do nothing but hope the situation improves...somehow. Nobody should be surprised that this will only lead to more failure; hoping the left collapses on its own is utterly retarded.
