Speaking of which, can someone brief me on the what the fuck happened? I slept for like seven or eight hours, came back and everyone was acting like something major happened.

Something go wrong in PA?
PA law insists that a bicameral resolution needs five meetings at a minimum. Today's the last day of their session, and neither chamber's majority leader wanted to do an emergency extension to handle this (or even send a competing list of electors). So PA is a bust, unless any of the standing lawsuits there are favorably ruled upon (even then, I don't think the legislature would be enabled to do much of anything at that point).

Additionally, while the AZ hearing was happening, the governor certified their election results. WI has also certified their results ahead of schedule (I'm pretty sure those 160k ballots are still being contested).

YES. That's what spineless, demoralized people do. It's a method of tying that last little bit of rope you have left to prevent themselves from putting the barrel into their mouths and pulling the trigger. They're literally that weak-willed, and they gladly pass it off as being a 'pessimist/realist' to pat themselves on the back for doing fuck all about their situation. They're as bad - if not worse- as the RINOs who show their necks at the first sign of a screech.
I'd actually say the dooming today has been mostly fair. It's the final week and a ton of the right have shown themselves to not want to do anything to stop their own destruction.

The legislature session was going to end on Monday but the GOP leadership decided to not allow any new bills or resolutions. Which stopped Mastriano from ever trying to pass the resolution he'd need to pass to claw back the electoral college votes.

Since then no word from Mastriano. Oh yeah, and anonymous sources told the media he'd been informed he had COVID. And no one has heard from him since then.

Not that I know of. People, myself included, are just worried nothing will happen this week and it's the final week to do anything. We don't know what could happen, but it's still do or die time.
It's actually been mostly good news. Sure Ducey certified the results but a Judge is also allowing Kelli Ward/AZ GOP to review a sample of mail in ballots to compare signatures

People said Trump wouldn't win the first time around. But he did.

Things don't necessarily have to get worse forever.
Don't you know? Every political season in Current Year is an ideological Vernichtungskrieg, the victor of which gets to establish their Thousand Year Reich and the loser is reduced to an obscure historical footnote like Arianism. It's just more dramatic that way.

Why are the stakes so high now when they've only been minor inconveniences and tax hikes before? Maybe it's because we're talking politics on the Internet and the present time has to be the most pivotal moment in all of history so we can feel important. Maybe it's because "The Great Reset" is so grandiose-sounding, maybe it's just the ingrained sense that the run the West has had is an aberration in history, and it seems the powers that be have collectively agreed to reduce us back to the norm.

Shame he slipped and fell on two bullets head first before taking a swim in a lake.

Most countries I've checked out also have a net worth qualifier, for those not yet retired for example, you got any info on that for Costa Rice by chance?
No I don't but I've read up on expats and I don't see anything about what provable income you need, since I focused on retirees. There are a lot of guides for people looking to relocate there online, might want to explore those.

Or it's because for 4 years one side has increasingly shown how insane they are, has abused everything they've gotten their hands on, burned cities for months, and countless other things. It's nice to think everything will go back to "normal" but that's just not true anymore.

calm down faggot
can you include me in your manifesto
I'm probably already on a list for posting here. I think the only way to really send a message to elites is through domestic terrorism like Timothy McVeigh but every year. If voting doesn't matter then there's literally nothing else the populace can do (aside from the default which is doing nothing).

edit: I do not condone political violence or terrorism. I am merely espousing the four boxes of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo. This site is the soap part and large portions of the American populace are censored on the internet and do not trust the ballots or the jury to be fair and impartial. This is fundamentally tied to our Founder's beliefs expressed in the Bill of Rights, especially the Second Amendment, which explicitly grants citizens the rights to bear arms for the use of self defense and against oppression and tyranny. I strongly urge all Americans on this site to review the Bill of Rights to understand the principles upon which our law should be based, lest it be corrupted and tainted.
