My friend is actually wondering if the zombie girl is the same person since he said that vtuber has "toxic energy" and the zombie's design fit that well

Regarding vshojo fans taking potshots at Cover (because god knows they don't know shit about Ichikara or else they might have a point) it is maybe 30% warranted. Early Cover was very restrictive and is now way more lax about what they allow and basically let the talent create their own image so long as it's not too risque. The approach Vshojo is working is basically that of very old MCNs...and we all know how that worked out. Despite hololive being a technical MCN it is still way more in charge of the girls content than what you expect of a standard organization like that. From restriction breeds innovation, and I feel a lot of the content is much more creative due to the boundaries they actually have in place since the talent has to work around it. If you wanna go wild west with this, Vshojo is the equivalent to the lawless town of Vtuber organizations while Cover is a frontier fort.

I know he was trolling earlier, but I was watching some clips of Korone playing AC Syndicate while thinking about the idiot who basically said that the Vtubers were all doing early 2010’s reaction video style antics, but any time I watch someone like Markiplier or any of those reaction vids, all I feel is how fake and planned everything he does feels.

And yes, there are clearly times Vtubers are faking things (it is still a performance after all) but there’s also a genuineness about their appreciation of their fans, there is a sincerity about their love of the games they play. When Pikame says that she loves a game and could play it forever, or one of the Holo girls has a moment where they start cracking up because they’re having fun... that comes across. And it makes you want to be a part of it.

anyway, I know I don’t need to explain it to anyone else here, but it was on my mind and now I’ve got it off my mind.

... Why cover why? How about you start profiting before making more. The id branch is still in the red according to them and what do they do. They split the audience. Let the 1st gen get going before trying yo cram more in.

I'm in a weird situation with Mousey.
I definitely consider her one of my oshis, but there is no fucking way I'll openly admit that, or add the oshimark on twitter because I dont wanna be associated with her retard fanbase.

I don't think any vshoujo girls (or boy) are entertaining at all but I'll admit I'm happy for mouse knowing her health situation, it's good that she found something that she can do.

Maybe it has something to do with the anime avatar allowing our disability to notice their facial or body language

But then, you also noticed the fakeness some vtubers has, like the indies (and arguably hologirls at some part) when they play the game. Maybe acting is one of the part Cover prioritized over anything for their talents

I also didn’t necessarily mean “fake” in a derogatory way.

There’s obviously going to be days they don’t feel well, or games they’re less into, and you still have to stream. And Rushia clearly doesn’t hate being called flat as much as she plays it up. Playing to the crowd is “faking it”, but it’s part of the show and people enjoy it.

I think the difference is that with reaction stuff “playing to the crowd” IS the show, and they don’t seem to have any actual interest in what they’re doing except as a means to that end.

Korone reminds me a lot of Vinny from Giant Bomb (back 10 years ago when it was good), just enjoying chaos for the sake of chaos.

Damn,reading over this Nijisanji application I realize I need to create my own character first. I guess I'll try to spice up what I'm already doing but I doubt it's gonna be colorful enough for them.

A few months back i speculated that a Vtuber named Akuma Momo might be involved in HoloID gen 2 after her sudden graduation only 3 months after her debut. Once i get home, i'll archive one of her videos so we can have a voice reference. Might as well since they're still up.

If i had to put in my 2 cents, she's most likely gonna be Kureji, the zombie girl
