And I do not meme when I say that. Consider it this way: in previous generations, the ones who held the most obvious power were the politicians and they were also the ones who were front and center when it came to most news on the air. But now the news media is mostly talking heads spouting opinion. It's they who decide what is true or not, and who is just or not, and so on. They're the priests of the modern era. And if some loon is going to get mad at anyone, it's going to be a MSM talking head who betrayed or insulted a given politician.

It's funny how as soon as Trump EDIT refused to concede /EDIT the shit hit the fan. Like we found that Detroit's voting hasn't balanced for about 40 years which means there's no way to tell if ballots have been stuffed or not.

We also found out that all the theoretical checks and balances against fraud don't actually work. Republican observers have never been allowed in blue cities. If the Republicans object to unbalanced voting they just get intimidated into certifying. The state legislatures know they can't use their power of direct appointment. When it gets to Congress there's a theoretical possibility for one Senator and one member of the House to object to certification but wasn't used in 2016 or 2000, both controversial elections.

Essentially the media have always called elections on the night and the loser has conceded and all this stuff has been hidden.

Incidentally a word to the wise. When you glowpost in this thread you're putting the site mods and site owner in a situation where they can either ban you or risk the glowies coming after the site.

Pretty sure this assshole was perfectly fine with looting and rioting and people being assaulted and having their businesses ruined and their lives destroyed over the past year but investigating a rigged election? Now is not the time to be purity spiraling when control of the Senate hangs in the balance. Yeah, the GOP is long overdue for a purge, but beggars can't be choosers right now. Save it for 2022.
