Have you noticed the link between Governments getting what they want and "good" news? The tories forced through their shitty little bit of delegated legislation (no thanks in part to the cowardly abstention of Labour) and now we're being "rewarded" like good little doggies who've rolled over to show our tummies for petting. So; wake up this morn in the mire that is the UK to see the vaccine starts next week. This shitty gov just wants to be remembered for saving xmas in the hope it cancels everything they have been crap at. Anyhow; I am not going to be top of the list to be offered it, but I wont be far behind.
One thing is for sure; i will not be taking it when it is offered this first time around. I think it safer to see the effects on a sample size of tens of millions, before offering my arm, and If this means I get tattoed with an identifier that stops me from enetering a pub, getting on a plane, etc then so fucking be it.
Not to PL too much but I never thought I would be thankful for having had serious, life-threatening allergic reactions to vaccines in the past. Not only am I way, way down the list anyways, that puts me even lower. No fucking way would I touch the Pfizer jab with a one hundred foot stick.
I've said this to everyone I know who's been sceptical: write to your MP. Write to any politician you like, in fact. Write to the leader of the opposition to tell him he's a fucking coward, write to Sir Graham Brady, head of the 1922 Comission who can call or a vote of no confidence, write to Matt Hancock to tell him he's a fucking spastic, write to the cretin shitskin who's been put in charge of vaccines who has no background in STEM and is saying he's wanting to put Dildo Fucking Harding in charge of the tech for the "vaccine passport" and tell them what you think. Look at how your MP voted - if at all - and vote for another Party in the council elections next year, and then vote against your MP if you're pissed off with them at the next GE - and let's be realistic, this Gov won't serve it's full term so it won't be four years off now.
